An 'extreme haunted house' where you have to sign a 40-page waiver to enter has been accused of being a 'torture chamber in disguise'.

A 2023 Hulu documentary titled Monster Inside: America's Most Extreme Haunted House gives viewers an inside-look at the terrifying Tennessee attraction.

Check out the official trailer here:

In the doc, haunted house creator Russ McKamey boasts: "We’re known for no quitting and no safe word.

"Either you actually complete the tour, which is not going to happen, or you mentally or physically are at such a breaking point that it’s not safe for you to continue and I need to take you out."

According to the McKamey Manor's official website FAQs, the '10+ hour extreme' attraction states attendees must meet certain 'requirements'.

"Not your typical 'Boo' Haunted House. You've been warned!" it adds.

Confirming that 'the actors will come into contact with you' the website very clearly states that visitors 'CANNOT touch the actors or props'.

"We do not allow foul language, pushing, vulgar behavior, weapons of any kind, smoking, drugs, alcohol, etc," the website continues.

"We have a list of rules that must be adhered to (and a WAIVER FORM), must be completed for your own safety and the safety of the other guests. Violation of these rules means you will be asked to leave."

It also states that any visitors of the 'must be in excellent health' and referenced its reported 40-page waiver.

"You will incur VERY physically and mentally demanding environments," the site warns.

"Make sure to follow the rules. YOU MUST READ the WARNING page and sign the WAIVER FORM before you enter the haunt.

"DO NOT ATTEND if you have medical conditions that might cause you an injury.

"DO NOT enter our haunt if you are prone to seizures or if you have ANY kind of respiratory conditions, especially asthma, or heart conditions.

"Do not enter if you have broken bones, casts or are pregnant."

An online petition has since been created in a hopes of shutting the attraction down once and for all.

The petition, which was published by Frankie Towery back in 2019, slammed: "Advertised as 'an extreme haunt' when in fact it is NOT a haunted house. It’s a torture chamber under disguise."

Towery added: "They do screenings to find the weakest, most easily manipulated people to do the 'haunt'.

"If Russ doesn’t think you’re easily manipulated, you aren’t allowed to go."

"It’s literally just a kidnapping [and] torture house."

Tyla has reached out to McKamey Manor for comment.
