Born in 1904 in Medford, Wisconsin, Jeane Dixon is one of the most famous American psychics in history.

Gifted with a talent for predicting the future, she became well-known for her eerily accurate prophecies about major political events.

And, she had a chilling warning for 2025.

Throughout her career, Dixon predicted that Richard Nixon would become US president in 1968 but would not finish his term in office. Nixon, of course, then went on to resign in 1974 following the Watergate scandal.

She is also said to have correctly predicted that the Vietnam War would end in 1974.

And, in her 1971 memoir, A Gift of Prophecy: The Phenomenal Jeane Dixon, the psychic and astrologer said that there would be a terrorist act against a New York skyscraper in the near future, which many believe refers to the 9/11 attacks.

But by far Dixon's most notable prediction was the assassination of John F. Kennedy, who was shot and killed while travelling in a presidential motorcade in Dallas, Texas, in 1963.

In 1956, she wrote in Parade Magazine that the 1960 election would be 'dominated by labour and won by a Democrat,' and added that whoever won the election would 'go on to be assassinated or die in office though not necessarily in his first term'.

Dixon also made predictions that extended far beyond her own death in 1997, including a rather chilling prophecy for 2025.

In her 1969 book, My Life and Prophecies, she predicted that a war would break out between China and Russia between 2025 and 2037, both initiated and won by China.

But, while that sounds pretty bleak, we shouldn't panic just yet, as many of the psychic's predictions over the years never came to pass.

For example, Jeane believed that Russia would beat the US in the space race to become the first nation to put a man on the moon.

She also wrongly predicted that World War Three would break out in 1958, there'd be a cure for cancer in 1967, a second holocaust in the 1980s, and that Rome would rise to once again become the biggest empire in the world.

And, she said that the world would end in 2020 when a 'war of armageddon' would break out and wipe out the planet, which we can thankfully confirm was once again wrong.

We can only hope that her prediction for 2025 was also a case of misfired psychic energy.
