Update: After this article was published, Brooklyn officially changed his Instagram handle to @brooklynpeltzbeckham, with Nicola changing to @nicolaannepeltzbeckham shortly after. Tyla has reached out to Brooklyn's rep for further details.

Fans are convinced that Brooklyn Beckham has changed his name following his wedding to Nicola Peltz.

The pair tied the knot this weekend in a lavish ceremony at Nicola's family beach-front estate in Palm Beach, Florida, with Vogue covering the event.

It was reported that Nicola nominated her hockey-player brother Brad, 32, to be her 'man of honour' on her big day. But now, fans believe that the bride has further bucked tradition by keeping her own family surname after their wedding.

Nicola captioned a sweet wedding image from the big day as: "Mr. & Mrs. Peltz Beckham", convincing fans that she may have taken a double-barrelled surname after making her vows.

One fan had quite strong feelings about the surname change, commenting below Nicola's post: "He doesn't love you if he doesn't put your name tag at his heart. You should break up with him".

"It's Mr. Beckham and Mrs Peltz Beckham... he's not taking your last name," another similarly expressed.

A different viewer of the image commented: "Mr & Mrs Beckham.. fixed it for you".

Meanwhile, another fan quipped: "Mr and Mrs gorgeousness."

"IM SCREAMING WOW [sic]," a different fan penned beneath the image.

"PELTZ YES," a different social media user wrote.

Another added: "HER NAME FIRST".

However, the mother of the groom, Victoria Beckham, wrote in a congratulatory post for the pair: "Congratulations Mr and Mrs Beckham X Welcome to the family".

Some fans rolled with this reference, with one writing under Victoria's post: "Finally! Mrs. Beckham".

Nicola is the daughter of billionaire entrepreneur Nelson Peltz and model Claudia Heffner, while Brooklyn is the son of Victoria and David Beckham.

Update: After this article was published, Brooklyn officially changed his Instagram handle to @brooklynpeltzbeckham, with Nicola changing to @nicolaannepeltzbeckham shortly after. Tyla has reached out to Brooklyn's rep for further details.
