Love Island stars Georgia Steel and Sam Bird have broken-up, with the pair confirming their split with emotional Instagram posts.
Only two days ago, Georgia and Sam were spotted looking loved-up on the hot pink carpet at ITV Palooza in London, meaning their announcement may come as a shock to fans.
Sam and Georgia seemed too upset to share details on why they had decided to go their separate ways, although they reportedly were looking downcast as their left the showbiz bash.
I'm devastated to announce me and Georgia have split up for reasons I cant bring myself to comment on at the moment. As always I wish her all the best :pensive:

"I'm devastated to announce me and Georgia have split up for reasons I cant bring myself to comment on at the moment," Sam shared on his Instagram story. "As always I wish her all the best."
Echoing her ex-beau's words, Georgia posted: "I'm very sad to say me and Sam have split. I will always care about him.
"However please understand this is a very hard time for both of us."

Sam and Georgia had moved in together in a luxury Essex flat after coupling up in the villa, and their budding romance seemed to be going from strength to strength by the looks of social media.
While they posed for the cameras on the red carpet on Tuesday together with their arms around one another, Georgia shared a solo shot of herself on her Instagram following the evening, rather than of the two of them.

Their former co-stars were quick to send messages of support to Sam, who was first to share the break-up news with his fans.
Dr Alex George tweeted: "Love you mate xx."
And season three Love Island star Chris Hughes replied: "Chip up buddy. More happiness around the corner. Keep smiling and upbeat."
Georgia and Sam are now the fifth couple from this year's Love Island to split up just months after the end of the show.
