If you've been thinking about shaking things up and getting a tattoo, we would highly recommend you do a little bit of extra research before you put needle to skin.
We wish we could go back in time and warn TikTok creator Brittany Lewin of this before she got a seemingly 'innocent' tattoo on her forearm that has a shocking second meaning.
Watch the video here:
After getting a tattoo of an upside down pineapple on her arm, Brittany was mortified when she got a dm from a friend who told her it had a rather explicit meaning.

We had no idea that this was common knowledge, but apparently Brittany's TikTok followers did!
Reacting to her video, one viewer told her: "I’ve thought this every video I’ve seen of u. I just thought each to their own 😂😂❤️"
A second added "Yep, everytime I see it I was thinking to myself 'does she know?' 😂"
Shocked that she didn't know what it meant, a third wrote: "I always thought you and James were just into some extra fun stuff lol. I'm sad that you didn't actually know."

"Ive always giggled at your pineapple tattoo 🤣🤣🤣" commented a fourth.
One amused follower suggested that Brittany shouldn't be so hard on herself, and instead take it as a sign to try something new.
They joked: "Nothing wrong with that it’s a sign go have a good time 😹😹"

Last week we told you about another cringe tattoo mistake, when Michael Crane, 37, decided to get his wedding date inked on his arm.
After their wedding venue fell through, Michael, who paid £180 to have the original date and time of his wedding tattooed on his arm, was then left with the massive tattoo to remember it.
Luckily, Michael and Linda have been able to rearrange their wedding for the following day, so Michael will have the number five adjusted to a six, but unfortunately the time will be wrong.

Let these cautionary tales be a lesson to us all. Do ALL of the research before you commit to a tattoo!
