Influencer's Wimbledon photos spark heated debate after people spot eerie detail

An account with the name Mia Zelu shared several snaps from this year's tennis tournament

A content creator has caused quite the stir on Instagram after posting a series of snaps from her time at this year's Wimbledon tournament.

Mia Zelu boasts a staggering 164,000 followers on the photo-sharing app.

Though her online profile doesn't disclose her age or from which country she hails from, with her bright blonde hair and sky blue eyes, you could easily predict that she's in her mid-20s, with some sort of Scandinavian heritage.

Only a brief description gives Zelu's followers a glimpse into her life. "Fashion inspo, daily moments & memories," her bio reads.

"No TikTok, YouTube account - just here."

She also captioned her debut post, shared in March of this year: "A little about me: I’m happiest in the sun, I believe coffee tastes better in cute cafés, and I live for cozy hoodies and deep conversations. Now tell me something about you."

A quick glance at her most recent posts, however, and fans can determine that she's a girl on the go, having shared photos from numerous different travel destinations and at high-profile societal events.

Such was also the case this week, with Zelu uploaded a number of photos from Wimbledon 2025, which came to its conclusion in London over the weekend.

"Still not over the event… but the party’s a whole other game," she captioned the collection, before asking her followers: "Which Wimbledon match was your fave? #wimbledon #tennislife."

In the first photo, the social media influencer could be seen posing in the sport stadium stands, with an Aperol spritz sitting carefully on the table beside her.

Another two photos featured Zelu perched on her seat in a super chic beige outfit, smiling while holding her golden tresses in her hands.

The final two images in the blonde bombshell's collection included a horde of Pimms glasses - the go-to drink during the British tennis grand slam - and an extravagant buffet which she and her friends had seemingly prepared for afterwards.

However, the Wimbledon photo dump has set tongues wagging online, with several of Zelu's followers clocked onto the fact that the pictures - as well as those making up the rest of her account - were made using AI technology.

The clues? Well, on top of the cartoon-like facial features across several of her other posts, on one of her tennis tournament snaps, the star appears to not have kneecaps.

Having picked up on this bizarre reality, one Instagram user urged their fellow fans to take note: "She’s not real guys…".

Another questioned: "How do people actually think she is real?

"When they've perfected humanoid robots are we going to be liking their posts too?" a third went on to jibe.

To be fair to Zelu - or whichever ChatGPT super-fan is behind the fake account - it does disclose at the very bottom of her bio: "Digital storyteller & AI-influencer."

So, we can't really blame her - it!
