Many of us have found ourselves in our fair share of office politics over the years.

From fridge space territory wars to post-work drinks hangxiety - it's clear HR workers really have their work cut out for them.

And the latest workplace exchange to viral saw one woman left 'shaking' after seeing the text message her boss sent her about the state of her work desk.

The whole saga started when the woman, who goes by the handle @qnoodledoodles, online, took to X to share her office desk setup which consisted of three screens all showing space-themed wallpapers and two framed photocards of what appeared to be two musicians from the k-pop band, Loona.

"First day in corporate job, do you think they know I’m orbit?" she captioned the snap.

Just a few days later, the woman then uploaded a screenshot of a text she received from her manager which read: "Hi [name] I noticed that your cubicle setup is not up to company brand standard."

Quite ominously, it finished off: "When you come back to work on Monday please change your layout and then come by my office after 2pm."

She captioned the post: "YALL AM I GETTING FIRED?????"

The woman has since posted a series of follow-up tweets on the thread, writing that she had spoken to her co-workers, who then advised her to 'bring this up with HR' as they also were 'confused' as to why he is 'on my ass about a few photos'.

"I guess stay tune to see how that all goes ????" she added.

"And I’ll probably use this as a live update thread so thoughts and prayers I just want to keep my PCs on my desk bruh."

She later shared that she requested a meeting with HR, adding that he would 'see ur downfall… I don’t play around with my moon girls'.

After revealing the request was approved, the X user carried on: "My heart beating really fast. The entire meeting was me explaining to three separate people (kept coming in one by one to see what’s going on cause [redacted] is a big shot) how I picked subtle photos to use and that the pcs were of people who mean a lot to me (hyewon save me)."

She then continued to say that HR were 'on her side', as their only notes were to 'just clean up my papers on my desk and organise a bit more', adding: "LOONA will prevail!!!!!"

She also claimed that one of the HR told her that they might switch her to a different team in the company, adding that it was considered 'hypocritical' of her manager to say that 'considering he has a family pics on both his wallpaper and desk photo'.

Then, just yesterday, she shared the latest update in the bizarre office politics saga.

Noting that she felt a 'weird energy' but was maybe feeling 'super paranoid', the woman then shared the latest message she received from her manager.

It read: "HR has notified me. You have been reassigned to a different team. You'll be under [redacted] from now on.

"Please move all your equipment and any decor into desk 76."

"TO FREEDOM," she captioned the post.

She then followed up by tweeting: "IM SO HAPPYYYYY EHEHEHEHEHHE LOONA KARMA IS REAL AND WILL ALWAYS PREVAIL."

And, to bring the - frankly bizarre - chronicle to a neat end, the woman ended the chapter with a second picture of her new office setup, which showing the exact same three desktop wallpapers and photos positioned on her desk.

"Second week of corporate job, do you think they know I’m orbit?" she quipped.
