A woman who 'died for 11 minutes' has revealed the extremely shocking details of what she allegedly saw on 'the other side'.

It all started when Charlotte Holmes, who hailed from Wichita in Kansas, was having a routine check-up with her cardiologist back in 2019.

However, seemingly all of a sudden, her blood pressure skyrocketed to a dangerous level and she was rushed to hospital.

After being warned of the high chance of suffering a stroke or heart attack, Charlotte's heart stopped for 11 full minutes and she was declared clinically dead.

Opening up about the traumatising ordeal on The 700 Club, Charlotte's husband, Danny, recalled: "Immediately, they call this code and everybody started rushing in.

"They just started working on her and I thought well, I'm wondering if I'm even going to be able to bring her home."

Danny came to a heartbreaking realisation after his wife started describing seeing things in the room that weren't there.

"That's when I knew she was not in this world," he said.

Reflecting on the experience, Charlotte explained that she had been looking down on her lifeless body as she watched hospital staff desperately trying to revive her.

"I could smell the most beautiful flowers I've ever smelled, and then I heard music," she said.

"When I opened my eyes, I knew where I was. I knew I was in heaven."

Opening up about the 'afterlife', the mum was amazed by the sheer 'beauty' of what she could see, adding: "I can't convey to you what heaven looked like, because it's so above what we can even imagine, a million times."

She claimed that a group of angels helped lead her further into the 'afterlife', assuring: "There's no fear, it's like pure joy when the angels take over.

"I seen my mum, I seen my dad, I seen my sister, I seen family members standing behind."

Charlotte carried on: "I seen saints of old.

"They didn't look old, they didn't look sick, none of them wore glasses. They looked like they were in their 30s. Yet it says in the scriptures, 'We will be known as we were known'.

"I knew them there in their new bodies. They looked wonderful."

She was confused, however, after happening upon a toddler: "I can remember thinking, 'Who is this?' And I heard my heavenly father say to me, 'It's your child.'

"I lost that child. I was five-and-a-half months pregnant. I can remember them holding the baby up and saying, 'Charlotte, it's a boy'. Then he was gone. So when I seen this toddler, I said, 'God, how is that possible?'

"He said, 'They continue to grow in heaven - but there's no time, it's eternity'."

And it wasn't just heaven that Charlotte claimed to have experience as she also alleged to have been 'taken to hell' by God as a 'warning'.

"God took me to hell, and I looked down and the smell, and the rotten flesh - that’s what it smelled like… and screams," she explained.

"After seeing the beauty of heaven, the contrast to seeing hell is almost unbearable."

Continuing, Charlotte also claimed: "He says, 'I show you this to tell you, if some of them do not change their ways, this is where they shall reside'.

"I heard my father say, 'You have time to go back and share'."

It was after experiencing 'hell' that Charlotte was then 'drawn back' into her physical body.

She ended up making a full recovery and was discharged from hospital two weeks later.

Looking back on the experience, she shared: "I felt the pain, where I hadn't felt pain, I felt the sorrow."

"People need hope," Charlotte continued. "They want to know that there really is something out there, they want to know that everything's OK. Heaven is more than you can imagine.

"I can look you square in the eye and tell you for sure, heaven is real."

Charlotte's since passed away last year (November, 2023), The Ozark County Times reports, after a heart attack at the age of 72.

She was survived by her husband of 52 years and their daughter Chrystal, as well as her grandchildren.
