This is the most heartwarming video

Hiding Christmas presents from your kids can be super tricky - after all, with many kids believing in Santa, it would be difficult to explain why Father Christmas isn't looking after all the gifts himself in the North Pole.

So what do you say if your kids come across a stash of presents at the back of the wardrobe?

Well, one dad was left horrified after his toddler found all of her Christmas presents in their home, leading to her believing it was Christmas Day.

You can watch the heartwarming clip below:

TikToker @jasonmadden67 shared the clip on his account, and people couldn't stop laughing at the cute vid.

“No way has my child just found all her presents," he said.

Despite Jason trying to change the subject, it seems the little one knew exactly what the gifts were for, asking: “But what is it, is it for Christmas day?”

Jason could be heard saying: “There’s nothing,” but the little one was adamant she'd spotted gifts in the house.

“Yes it is, yes it is... It’s Christmas day, we need presents.”

She even started listing off what she'd seen, telling her dad: “I saw toys and a Barbie”.

“Christmas is cancelled," Jason wrote, covering his face with his hands.

The little one managed to find all her gifts.

Other TikTokers couldn't stop laughing at the video, with one writing: "Am laughing so much she’s hilarious."

While another added: "Omds this has me howling."

And a third said: "Awwwwwwwwwww we need presents!!!!! Her wee voice, she's so cute."

Meanwhile a fourth commented: "This is so funny but so cute at the same time."

Others suggested how Jason could try and backtrack on what had happened, with one adding: "Tell her they are for family the amount of times I've grabbed bargains with the kids there but told them it's for their cousin."

And another suggested: "Tell her it’s for the little girl down the road who has nothing. My mum used to always say this to me and I believed her and never batted an eyelid."

While a third wrote: "We have to buy them. Then Santa's elf picks them up and Santa checks his list to see if they have been naughty or nice. That was ma story anyway."

What would you do if your little one found their presents?

And a fourth said: "That's why you tell them Santa gets you a present but so do parents."

What would you do in this situation?
