We all know that break-ups can be devastating, stressful and downright confusing at times and one woman has revealed the latter is very much so true after revealing the gift she received off her ex-boyfriend after calling it quits.

The woman, who goes by the handle @self_daily_love online, took to TikTok to share exactly what parting present her ex of seven years had decided to leave her with and it's seemingly split the internet right down the middle.

The overlay text of the short clip reads: "I dumped him after seven years and he gave me this gift."

She then showed a red gift bag with pink love hearts all over it with pink tissue paper sticking out the top.

After unwrapping the present, the woman finally revealed what he bought her.

It was packaged along with a note that read: "I know you don't love me anymore.

"Love yourself now... Kev."

She removed the handwritten note to finally show viewers what he got her - a self-help book titled Fall in Love with Yourself by Angel Gaudia dubbed 'the ultimate guide of self-empowerment and self-love'.

The woman captioned the clip: "You dump him and he makes you a gift..."

The video has since gone viral after clocking over 14 million views since it was first posted on the platform only a matter of days ago.

Thousands upon thousands also clearly couldn't wait to share their thoughts on the gift, with many finding it a sweet gesture.

One TikTok user penned: "Seven years?? The most genuine gift?? Go get your soulmate back babe!"

"OMG are you sure you don’t love him?" asked a second.

A third commented: "It’s giving GET BACK WITH HIM NOW THAT'S A GOOD MAN!"

"Get your man back right now," advised a fourth.

Others, however, weren't so sure.

"Can’t tell if it’s manipulation or actual genuineness," wrote one TikTok user.

A second chimed in: "This gotta be manipulation."

"It’s giving reverse psychology," added a third, while someone else claimed: "I swear he’s making fun of you."

Another warned: "He’s calling you insecure don’t go back."

"If he wasn’t showing this type of energy before the breakup he’s only doing it to win you back," warned a sixth.

While a final TikTok user pointed out: "If she broke up with him that's okay, just because he got her a book doesn't mean she has to be with him."
