Woman spots train commuter with very awkward reminder written on his hand

A random train commuter has gone viral on TikTok after the 'gutless' note on his hand has shocked the internet.

A random train commuter in Australia has shocked the internet after the 'gutless' note on his hand went viral.

Sydney radio host Emma Chow was commuting on the train one day when she noticed a crazy reminder scribbled on the hand of man sitting in front of her who kept scratching his neck.

Take a look below:

"I had to take a video of this because I couldn't quite believe this guy had written this note on his hand," she confessed with co-host Mike E on their show RnB Fridays.

The note written on the commuter's hand awkwardly read: "Send a breakup email."

Ouch.

Chow - who was absolutely fuming - added: "Firstly how embarrassing.

"Secondly unbeknownst to her, this poor girl is going to get broken up with and it's just going to land in her Gmail and be like 'I don't want to be together anymore'."

While Mike attempted to defend the guy, Chow wasn't having any of it.

She said: "Say it to her face or say it on the phone at the very least.

"That is gutless, you cannot send an email to someone to break up with them."

Commenting on her now-viral TikTok, recorded in 2022, one viewer joked: "The standard Thursday reminder for every male uni student who picked up the weekend before."

"Imagine the sign off... Live, laugh, I don't love you," another quipped.

Meanwhile, a third person confessed: "Ah, the break up email. I've gotten one of those."

However, others were convinced that the message meant something entirely different.

One wrote: "Note to self: don’t run to assume.

"This could be a termination of a business agreement : contract break etc."

"It’s a sales term. You send a breakup email to a potential customer thats not returning a call or email," another explained.

"This could be a work email. If something isn’t a good fit we call it a break up email," a third agreed.

The message on the commuter's hand is being received different, as some believe it was simply a 'sales term'.

Some were simply asking for a more non-judgemental approach.

"You can’t judge him if you don’t know him," one wrote, as another added: "Why can’t people mind their own business on public transport."

"In business we use it to end a collab with a client. Why jump to conclusions? This gen is too flakey!" someone else thought.

Well, it's safe to say that only he knows what he meant and maybe, just maybe, one day, we might find out.
