Britain's largest family, the Radfords, treat their 22 children to 17 holidays in 20 months

They might be the biggest family in Britain, but that doesn't put them off traveling as a group

Any mum or dad will tell you that travelling with kids is hard work. In fact, you usually need a holiday to get over the family holiday itself.

But despite having more kids than anyone else in Britain, that hasn't put Sue and Noel Radford off travelling with their larger-than-life brood a staggering 17 times in just 20 months.

It makes you exhausted just thinking about it, right?

Since December 2021, the family - who are best known for their reality series 22 Kids and Counting - have been away at least 17 times, from staycations in Cornwall to the bright lights of New York - and they've got even more vacations in the pipeline for the next couple of months.

Just to recap, Sue and Noel are parents to Chris, 33, Sophie, 29, Chloe, 27, Jack, 25, Daniel, 24, Luke, 22, Millie, 22, Katie, 20, James, 19, Ellie, 17, Aimee, 16, Josh, 15, Max, 14, Tillie, 12, Oscar, 11, Casper, 10, Hallie, seven, Phoebe, six, Archie, five, Bonnie, four and Heidi, two.

They also had a son named Alfie, who was tragically stillborn in 2014.

But, despite being the biggest family in the UK, the couple still manage to treat their youngsters to several holidays a year, including a trip to Lapland in December 2021, when they took 13 of their kids to meet Santa and enjoy husky rides in the snow.

In June 2022, Sue took her daughter Hallie to Legoland for her 7th birthday and month later, the family went to stay at Cbeebies Land hotel at Alton Towers in Staffordshire, which was a big hit among the kids.

In fact, they loved it so much, they went back the following October for the park's Trick or Treat event at Halloween.

The same month, the couple ditched the kids (who can blame 'em?) for their 30th wedding anniversary, as they celebrated in the luxurious Maldives.

Two months later, in December, the family went to Disneyland Paris for Christmas instead of buying loads of presents.

"We decided to do the same as what we did last year with Lapland," Sue explained on their YouTube channel.

"We thought it's better to do a nice little Christmas trip away for them, making memories rather than getting present they probably won't even play with, don't even want."

That Christmas, Sue and her older daughters enjoyed a getaway to New York as a surprise from Noel.

And in 2022, the family purchased their very own motorhome, which they used to go on trips to the Lake District on several occasions thanks to how close it is to their home in Morecambe.

In 2023, the family went on to enjoy an adventure holiday to France, a trip to Scotland in the motorhome, an incredible trip to Disney World in Florida and most recently, a half term trip to Cornwall.

They certainly are a busy family, but Sue has admitted the hardest part of having such a big family is organising trips and making sure everyone is involved.

Certainly seems like they're doing a good job!
