Not to stress anyone out, but a powerful and rare astrological event is about to hit and wreak havoc on six star signs in particular.
Those who are into everything stars and space, will know I’m talking about the cazimi - a crucial moment in astrology when a planet forms an exact conjunction with the Sun, initiating a new cycle.
On Friday (22 May), we’re set to experience the Uranus cazimi, occurring in the air sign of Gemini.
To explain, Uranus will align at the exact heart of the Sun in Gemini, an event that hasn't occurred since the 1940s.

This kind of alignment is thought to sharpen and intensify a planet's influence, and for six signs, astrologers say the effects could be immediate and lasting for years. Not only that, but the major event will also kick off a seven-year transit through to 2033.
Joanne Jones, an astrologer at Trusted Psychics, told Tyla: “This isn't just a single-day event, it's the start of a longer shift in people's lives."
“Gemini governs language, communication, information, and the nervous system, so with Uranus amplified here, a collective shift is expected to play out through how we speak, consume information, and think.”

The expert added: “On a personal level, that could mean a conversation that rewrites your future, or an idea that arrives fully formed and changes your direction overnight.”
As for what you can do, Jones has encouraged all signs, whether you’re on the list or not, to stay mentally flexible and keep a journal open around 22 May.
She advised, "Write things down. Breakthroughs in this energy can arrive quickly and dissolve just as fast if you don't anchor them."
In preparation for the weekend, Jones has outlined the six star signs that will be most affected by the Uranus cazimi in Gemini.

The astrologer outlined that because cazimi lands directly in Gemini, this makes it the sign's personal awakening moment.
She said: “With Uranus heightened in Gemini's home territory, they expect some radical clarity around identity, communication, and how they're presenting themselves to the world.
“This is the sign most likely to experience a sudden, life-altering realisation or decision during this timeframe.”
Aquarius is co-ruled by Uranus, meaning a Uranus cazimi hits this sign with amplified force.
Jones explained that this one will activate Aquarius's natural gifts, including ‘innovation, rebellion, and visionary thinking, but with a focused, clarifying quality rather than the usual erratic Uranian energy’.
“This is a moment for Aquarius to solidify a long-held idea or finally act on a plan they've been sitting on,” she said.
As the sign directly opposite Gemini, Sagittarius will also feel this cazimi as a ‘push-pull between what they believe and what they're being shown’.
Meanwhile, Sagittarius's ruler is active in Cancer all month, ‘adding an emotional depth to this intellectual lightning bolt’.
The astrologer warned: “For Sagittarius, the breakthrough often comes through a bigger-picture realisation, which could be a philosophical shift, a changed belief, or finally seeing the truth in a relationship or situation.”

Aries, on the other hand, is expected to receive the cazimi energy as a ‘sextile, flowing, supportive connection that supercharges their natural impulse to act first and think later’.
Jones said: “In the week around 22 May, Aries is likely to receive a flash of inspiration or a new idea that demands immediate action. Neptune also sits in Aries through this period, giving those sparks a visionary quality.”
Second to last on the list put together by Jones is Virgo, who ‘sits in a tense square to this cazimi, meaning the breakthrough doesn't come easily’.
The astrologer outlined: “Uranus in Gemini challenges Virgo's need for order, precision, and routine, so the shift that arrives may feel uncomfortable at first, but it's highlighting something that genuinely needs to change.
“Virgo will gain mental clarity mid-month that reframes what truly needs structure and what doesn't.
Finally, Jones warned that Pisces also squares this cazimi, and with the lunar nodes activating Pisces throughout May, this sign is ‘under consistent pressure to release old patterns and move forward’.
“The Uranus cazimi delivers the final nudge, delivering a sudden realisation that something Pisces has been holding onto, whether that's a relationship, a belief, or an identity, no longer fits,” she advised.
