A mum had quite the shock when she made an alarming discovery about the DVD she had bought for her toddler.
Natalie Evans* purchased a DVD of The Simpsons Christmas 2 from a charity shop for her two-year-old son Tom on Friday (27 May), but it wasn't the wholesome festive tale she expected.

The 35-year-old said her jaw dropped when her fiancé Paul opened the case and discovered a DVD titled Extreme Anal 2 before the pair burst into laughter.
Someone removed the original disc and replaced it with an x-rated alternative.
The mum-of-five said she's learned a valuable lesson and will check all DVD cases before snapping them up second-hand in future.

Natalie, from St Albans, Hertfordshire, said: "My partner opened the DVD box, his face looked really shocked. He just showed it to me and I did a double-take and was like 'oh my god'. We thought it was hilarious.
"I'm a fan of going round charity shops. I'll buy clothes, the kids will pick up toys and DVDs are two for a £1, you can't go wrong.
"I picked up what I thought was a Christmas Simpson DVD for the little ones, Tom pointed it out, so I grabbed it for him, I didn't think to look inside.
"I've shared this on social media and lots of people were saying it was obviously someone hiding it from their parents or their partner.

"It's been taken to the charity shop without [anyone] thinking of looking inside, so when they go to look for their DVD it's not going to be there anymore.
"My partner watched it, he said it was really weird.
"It's now hidden away from the children. It's taught me to look through DVD cases when in charity shops."

Thank goodness they discovered the mistake in the nick of time.
