Zodiac signs most impacted by today’s Autumn Equinox

The Autumn Equinox is upon us, and some star signs are set to feel a major change - luckily, we're here to make sure you're fully prepared for it all.

The Autumn Equinox, taking place on 22 September, is an event which happens each year in September.

In the Northern Hemisphere, the date signals the end of summer (cry) and the beginning of autumn.

Think orange leaves, seasonal coffees and watching Gilmore Girls on repeat.

Royal Museums Greenwich explains: "The Earth is tilted on its axis. This means that the Sun illuminates the Northern or Southern Hemisphere more depending on where the Earth is along its orbit.

"However, at two points in the year the Sun will illuminate the northern and southern hemispheres equally. These are known as the equinoxes."

The Equinox may also have a personal effect on us - depending on our star sign.

Speaking exclusively to Tyla on behalf of FruitySlots, celebrity astrologer Inbaal Honigman has consulted the stars and revealed the three signs set to be most affected by the Autumn Equinox:

'A moment of reflection' for Virgos (Tyla)

Virgo

Librans will 'rearrange their lives' (Tyla)

Libra

“The Autumn Equinox kicks off Libra season. Just like Libra is all about balance, the Equinox is all about balance, and therefore Librans will, naturally, be more focused on bringing calm and stability into their lives during the Autumn Equinox," Inbaal explained. "They may find themselves filling job applications for career moves that will contribute to their work/life balance. They may give up a habit they’d picked up which they can now recognise as pointless. Librans will rearrange their lives and effort levels to create maximum balance.”

Taureans may experience 'increased calm, increased peacefulness' (Tyla)

Taurus

Inbaal told Tyla: “During the Autumn Equinox of 2024 specifically, the Moon and the Sun form a favourable angle with each other in the sky. In astrology, we call this a trine. As the Moon is in Taurus during that time, it means that Taurus will receive the best that the Equinox has to offer.

“Increased calm, increased peacefulness - if there are any draining people or situations in the Taurus’s life, those will get up and leave of their own accord.”
