A woman on TikTok has revealed how she managed to get a Nando's meal for £6 - and it's a seriously genius trick.

You can watch the video below:

In the TikTok, @allykhan2014 explains that she had fancied a Nando's on her lunch break but didn't want to spend loads, and so instead came up with a genius idea.

She explained: "Guys I've found the best life hack. I'm on my lunch break and I was fancying Nando's but I don't want to spend more than £10 on Nando's.

"So I decided to get the kids' meal."

Pointing to a burger, along with two sides, she continued: "This is a chicken burger, got some spicy rice, some chips there."

Ally also bought a Bottle Green strawberry cordial, but explained she could have chosen a dessert instead of a drink.

"You can also pick a dessert but obviously I didn't want to pick a dessert because I was walking and didn't want the ice cream to melt," she added.

"But for this, guess how much it costs? £6. Can you imagine?"

And other TikTokers were loving the trick, with hundreds commenting on the video.

One person wrote: "Hitting my Nando’s tomorrow thanks for sharing ha."

While another said: "As soon as I get back from holiday I’m getting this! You’re a legend."

And a third added: "I get the kids meal all the time to save some... I can’t finish the adult meal ever either."

Meanwhile one user, who claimed to be a manager at Nando's, explained: "I'm a Nandos manager. Btw, the only difference between this and a normal burger, is the bun, same amount of meat, tomato and lettuce."

Others admitted to already using the trick regularly, with one adding: "Literally I always get the kids meal it’s so much better value."

And another wrote: "I did this in lockdown, the burger is way nicer too!"

Over on the Nando's website, the kids' section of the menu explains that for £5.95 you can order a main, two sides and a drink or dessert.

Mains to choose from are a chicken burger, a chicken fillet, three chicken wings, a beanie burger or a beanie patty. Meanwhile, sides include chips, spicy rice, corn on the cob, long stem broccoli, little tomatoes and spiced grains and butternut squash.

You can then choose from a dessert or a drink, with desserts including frozen yoghurt and ice cream.

Genius!
