There's a delicious new breakfast trend all over social media - and you're gonna wanna try it asap.

Say hello to custard toast - creamy, custard filled toast, topped with fruit and sprinkled with sugar.

It looks so good - and it's mega easy to make.

All you need is bread, Greek yoghurt, eggs, fruit and maple syrup or honey. You could also add a little sugar or vanilla extract.

To create the breakfast, simply mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl to make a custard. Then, flatten each piece of bread in the centre, before pouring in some of the custard mixture.

Next, top with fruit and pop in the oven for around 10-15 minutes. Once cooked, you can add a sprinkle of icing sugar if you like your breakfast extra sweet.

You could even swap the fruit for chocolate if you fancy being extra indulgent.

Check out these examples below:

One person even created a 'crème brûlée' twist to their custard toast, simply by adding sugar on top and 'brûléeing' until super crunchy.

And people are loving the custard toast recipe, with one person commenting: "Amazing I need to do this myself 😅."

While another said: "😳Wow. Need to do this tomorrow ❤️❤️❤️."

And a third added: "Just made it today. Used vanilla bean Greek yogurt with blueberries. It was delicious."

A fourth advised: "I tried it over the weekend and loved it. I would skip the raspberries next time…too tart. Drizzled a little maple syrup and it was delish."

And a fifth added: "Tip: try this with brioche bread tastes even better."

"I made this a few weeks ago. we both loved it. I sprinkled powdered sugar on it.🥰🥰🥰," said a sixth.

We can't wait to give this a whirl over the weekend.
