Virgin Island contestant sparks concern after shocking comment forces sexpert to end naked session abruptly

A Virgin Island contestant has sparked concern among viewers after making a shocking comment to one of the sexperts.

The Channel 4 reality show follows 12 people aged between 22 and 30 who have never had sex before as they travel to a luxury retreat in Croatia to work with sex experts on overcoming their barriers around intimacy.

During episode four of the show, which aired on Monday (26 May), one of the contestants, Zac, was told to put his clothes back on by therapist, Kat Slade.

Kat is one of the show's surrogate partner therapists, who is 'dedicated to helping individuals move through physical and emotional barriers to achieve greater intimacy and sexual expression'.

Kat's role as a surrogate partner therapist means she is willing to have sex with one of the contestants if the relationship progresses to a point in which both are comfortable.

Zac made a comment which ended the session (Channel 4)

However, it seems Kat was not comfortable with a comment Zac made while they were both standing naked in front of one another.

Zac, a 28-year-old delivery driver, told her: “I want to move forward… I want to touch you and be touched by you.”

But Kat pointed out that Zac was focusing primarily on touch.

Zac then made a comment which seemed to end the session entirely, telling Kat: “I came in here confident and excited, and I don’t know if you’re as used to that in this line of work and I don’t know if you find that intimidating.”

Moments later and Kat told Zac to get dressed, concluding the session.

People watching at home were pretty alarmed by Zac's comment, with one person writing on X: "Every time Zac is on screen I am so uncomfortable."

While another added: "Zac is like… so overbearing and entitled oh my days."

And a third said: "Zac definitely comes across as just a bit too eager when it comes to the physical interaction."

Meanwhile, a fourth commented: "He's acting very creepy, he's definitely not there for the right reasons."

Zac previously explained why he came on the show, explaining: "I first heard about the casting on social media there was a man reporting that Channel 4 was looking for adult virgins to take part in an experimental TV show.

"This was of course describing me, ha ha. At first I was like - no way, I’m not gonna' do that, but I started to think about it more and more, and I realised that I wasn’t really getting anywhere by myself, time was just passing me by with no real positive change."
