Alright guys, the wait is finally over - THE LATEST SEASON OF MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT UK IS FINALLY HITTING OUR SCREENS TONIGHT!

Yep, you can do away with your countdown calendars as the beloved, yet chaotic, reality TV show is back and it's already off to a drama-filled start.

Luckily, E4 viewers itching for a fix of the dating show were treated to a side-splitting 'first look' clip which sees one couple far from hitting it off the altar.

Warning: Video contains strong language:

The clip, which some viewers have branded 'cheap behaviour' and a total 'ick' sees 28-year-old groom, Kieran Chapman, pulling a prank on his soon-to-be wife, Kristina Goodsell, 30.

Fancying himself as a comedian, the mechanic donned a set of false teeth while he waited for his bride to make her way down the aisle so they could meet for the very first time.

As Kristina smiled at her future husband, treasuring the once-in-a-lifetime moment, Kieran saw it fit to smile back - showing off a set of broken and rotting false teeth.

He then asks her through a mess of plastic teeth: "Are you alright, are you OK? What's your name?"

MAFS viewers were left tears at the bride’s explicit three-word response to seeing her husband for the first time.

An, unsurprisingly, Kristina was horrified, exclaiming in a voiceover: "What the f**k?"

Giving a glimpse into the reasoning for his prank, Kieran told viewers: "I think the teeth could make us look a little bit immature. I'm a little bit nervous to see how it goes.

"This could really end up bad. I just want to know if this girl's fun."

It seems like the general consensus of Kieran's prank, by the sound of viewer reaction, was that it fell totally flat.

"The fact he would do that is an instant ick," one MAFS fan penned in the comments after E4 shared the cringe-worthy clip on social media.

Another added: "Being able to take a joke is very different from putting up with immaturity. I think that's hilarious but definitely isn't appropriate under those circumstances."

A third wrote: "No thanks! Reminds me of something my ex would do and that’s why he’s my ex! Constantly p*ssing around and loving being the centre of attention."

Well, I guess we'll simply have to wait and see how it all pans out.

The latest season of Married at First Sight UK premieres on E4 tonight at 9pm (16 September).
