Josie Gibson admits son Reggie still sleeps in bed with her

Josie Gibson has admitted her five-year-old son still sleeps in bed with her as she opened up about life as a single mum.

The This Morning host is the proud mum of Reggie-James, whom she shares with her former partner.

While most mums would be eager to get their tots sleeping on their own, the TV presenter has revealed she doesn’t want to cut the apron strings any time soon.

The former Big Brother contestant became a household name back in 2010 after winning the reality series with her bubbly personality.

Over a decade on, Gibson has had to juggle work and family life – not so easy when you are one of the UK’s most famous faces.

In an intimate interview with OK!, she explained how her young son now splits his time between her home and spends three nights at his dads.

With so much going on, the presenter likes to spend as much quality time with him as possible and Reggie even shares the bed with her.

Though it is not the way to guarantee a good night’s sleep, the presenter has revealed she won’t be kicking the five-year-old any time soon.

She joked: "I want him in there forever - he will be until he’s 18!"

Like many mums, the TV star is struggling as she watches her son grow up, with her baby recently starting school.

The This Morning star said: "I don't like it at all - but I've got to live with it".

However, she may have to get used to Reggie fending for himself as the TV personality is rumoured to join I’m a Celeb.

Unlike her previous reality show appearances, Gibson would be jetting off down under with Ant and Dec as well as a whole host of other celebs.

While this has yet to be confirmed, The Sun claims that the celeb has signed a deal with ITV about her entering the outback after an intense bidding war with the BBC.

Gibson had also been tipped for Strictly Come Dancing, but sadly she won’t be competing for the glitterball trophy this series.

An insider told the paper: “Josie is hugely popular with This Morning viewers and producers were determined to get her.

“She is seen as the perfect person for the jungle as she’s already such a familiar face on ITV and will bring her fanbase with her."
