I’m A Celeb viewers convinced Melvin Odoom ‘has chance’ with crush Carol Vorderman after spotting subtle clue

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! viewers are utterly convinced Melvin Odoom 'has a chance' with his celebrity crush, Carol Vorderman, after spotting a very subtle clue.

Now, we all have celeb crushes and stars themselves are clearly no different, as the 44-year-old DJ and BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge presenter hasn't been shy when it comes to his attraction to the Countdown star, 63.

In fact, when the I'm A Celeb campmates received their luxury items earlier this week, Melvin showed off his pillow which featured pictures of his loved ones - and the maths whizz.

He was seen hugging the pillow which saw Carol donning a figure-hugging red dress, explaining in the Bush Telegraph: "My dad, my mum and Carol Vorderman. My crush.

"I have been a fan of Carol Vorderman for a very long time, in fact I have a little rap."

Melvin continued: "I know a woman so fine, she’s mature like a fine wine. The mandem can’t comprehend my 10 out of 10 Carol Vorderman, woo. I wanna work her out, check your DMs girl and I’ll be waiting."

Carol, who was actually also once on I'm A Celeb back in 2016, has since responded after finding out she was Melvin's crush.

During I'm a Celebrity… Unpacked, Carol recorded a voice note for him which gushed: "Melvin, I’m blushing redder than that leather red dress I’m wearing on your pillowcase.

"But I’ll be rooting for you all the way through, and see you on the other side."

ITV viewers have since rushed to social media to share their reactions to the saga with one X user writing: "I didn’t think a luxury item would beat the Jane McDonald photo but Melvin and his Carol Vorderman pillow has officially taken the top spot.

"Kind of obsessed with Melvin’s cushion of his family and… Carol Vorderman," penned a second while a third echoed: "I’m not gonna lie, I’m kinda obsessed with Melvin having a pillow with Carol Voderman on it."

"Not them role playing Melvin asking out Carol Vorderman like this is isn’t on national TV," quipped another.

And a final X user added: "Wheezing at the camp giving Melvin flirting advice with Carol Vorderman.

Such eagle-eyed fans of the TV show also clocked that Carol is now following Melvin on Instagram with one Reddit user joking: "He has a chance!"

"I would love to watch them on a date," admitted a second while a third exclaimed: "She sent in a voice note to the after show on Tuesday, very flirty."

And a final Redditer urged: "I really wish she met him on the bridge!"
