Ever since his signing was announced, Nigel Farage has been a controversial presence on I'm a Celeb, and viewers will reportedly be treated to one more surprise when he leaves the jungle.
Within days, he and Sirieix found themselves at loggerheads over Farage's questionable Brexit justifications. And it was later revealed that the co-stars have a history of feuding.
But with the gruelling ITV reality series now nine days underway, many viewers have been left surprised that Farage hasn't come to blows with his co-stars on a more dramatic scale.
Others, meanwhile, claim to have been left 'surprised' by the fact that he has seemingly kept his head down whilst Down Under.
"I MUST caveat this with *Politics Aside*, Nigel Farage actually comes across well in #ImACeleb and seems fairly likeable. Colour me surprised," one viewer wrote on X this week.
Another went on: "I can't believe I'm saying this after being a long time Trade Unionist Coalition voter but Nigel Farage is coming across really well on I'm a Celeb."
"He’s coming across really well, this is definitely Nigel preparing a run for PM. He’ll win by a landslide when he does," a third predicted.
And one person at home that is bound to be cheering Farage on is his younger girlfriend Laure Ferrari, 44.
Though the pair are yet to confirm their romance in public, it has been tipped today that the French politician could be set to meet Farage at the infamous Aussie bridge when he is eventually voted off the show.
According to The Sun, Ferrari is part of the family and friends group that will head out to Australia at the end of the series.
A source allegedly told the publication: "Nigel and Laure have been linked for years. Ever since she first moved into his house in Chelsea and was seen taking the bins out."
Addressing why Farage has never disclosed the relationship, they described him as an 'incredibly private person'.
"But there was a feeling if there was ever a time to open that door, it was now," the source went on. "It felt like a huge step for Matt Hancock to invite his controversial girlfriend Gina Coladangelo out to Oz last year.
"But the move proved to be a PR masterclass. It somewhat helped towards his redemption after their lockdown-busting affair."
Tyla has contacted Nigel Farage's representatives for a comment.
