Rylan Clark has made a brutal dig at Jamie Lynn Spears after it was confirmed she’d be heading into the jungle for this year’s I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The celebs are all on their way to New South Wales for this year’s series of I’m a Celeb, which features the likes of Nigel Farage, Josie Gibson, Fred Sirieix, Sam Thompson, Frankie Dettori, Tony Bellew, Nick Pickard, Nella Rose, Danielle Harold, Marvin Humes and Grace Dent all heading to camp.

However, there arguably of one person many of us are most excited to see, and that’s none other than Jamie Lynn Spears – the sister of a certain Britney Spears.
After months of speculation, ITV finally confirmed that Jamie Lynn was indeed taking part in the reality series, having released her intro video last night in which she introduces herself.
“I’m best known for being an actress and a singer,” she said.
"I have been doing it since I could basically walk.”
Her comments had a few people doing a virtual double take, with many admitting they ‘laughed’ when they found out what she was apparently ‘best known for’.
After all, Jamie Lynn may be pretty well known for her singing and acting – the latter of which includes roles in Nickelodeon's Zoey 101 and the Netflix series Sweet Magnolias – but it seems many people see her biggest claim to fame as being the younger sister of Britney Spears.
Presenter Rylan couldn’t help but reference her comments during today’s episode of This Morning, when he was joined by former I’m a Celeb stars Vicky Pattison, Ferne McCann and Jake Quickenden.
"It killed me when she said she's an actress and a singer - I was like 'are you?'" Rylan said.
TOWIE star Ferne then added: "I was waiting for 'and I'm Britney's sister', but I think we need to remember that she is her own individual."
She said ‘everyone is tuning in to get the Britney scoop’, adding: "However, if I was in there, I would be going 'Babe, have you spoken to your sis?' I would want to know.”
Rylan said Jamie Lynn’s involvement was a ‘great booking’, continuing: “Obviously because Britney has just brought out her book and the year that she's had."
And many I’m a Celeb fans had the exact same reaction as Rylan.
“How’s Jamie Lynn Spears kept a straight face when explaining what she’s best known for,” one tweeted.
Another commented: “Jamie Lynn Spears… best known for being an actress and a singer? Lols. Lots of lols. You do you girl”
