Euphoria viewers are convinced they've just spotted a major error in the latest episode of season three.
The new season of the fan-favourite HBO TV show kicked off on 12 April, with each instalment releasing weekly, on Sundays in the US and Mondays in the UK.
Starring Sydney Sweeney, Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer, the late Eric Dane, and Alexa Demie, the third series is set following a five-year jump, after the characters have left high school and are now navigating the difficulties of the real world.
Now that we're two episodes in, the fan theories are well and truly swirling online, whether it's speculation on who Jules' sugar daddy could be or what lies in store for new character Angel (Priscilla Delgado).

And eagle-eyed viewers also think they've spotted a mistake in episode two that doesn't quite fit with the timeline the show is set in.
Viewers picked up on a moment where Maddy (Alexa Demie) was showing one of her influencer clients something on her phone, and are convinced that the model is an iPhone 16.

The current season is thought to take place in roughly 2024; however, it features a lot of flashbacks from before and during the COVID-19 pandemic, sparking confusion.
One X user wrote: "Just watched the second episode and how tf did Maddy get her hands on an iPhone 16 during the pandemic in 2020???"
While a second person penned on Reddit: "Sloppy Details S3E2: Iphone 16 in 2020."
Others joked on social media: "Oh maddy the time traveler you are" and "No like? how was she recording say so dance with an iPhone 16."
Someone else agreed: "hey had one job, to find an iPhone 11. They really thought people wouldn’t notice because the camera placement is similar."
However, others have argued that this particular scene wasn't set in 2020, and in some of the older shots, she does in fact have a different model.
One viewer explained: "This wasn’t during 2020, the start of the flashback was.. but this scene was much later. They’re even at influencer parties etc. with no masks. She even tells her boss her mom lost the salon 'during the pandemic' … you guys don’t pay attention then make dumbass posts lol."
While a second echoed: "Exactly they already showed the first girl she managed had her success after a year the Covid."
A third pointed out: "The pandemic was only addressed on the episode, but is not the main series storyline. They’re not living during the pandemic time."
A fourth added: "Season 3 is set in like 2024-2025 not 2020…you’re forgetting they did a time jump."
And a fifth explained: "This happened post-pandemic. This was 2024 lol. 2020 was when Maddy was trying to land her first gig, etc was pandemic."
