OK folks - we're just a matter of hours away from Celebrity Big Brother hitting our screens once again after last being on air over half a decade ago back in 2018.

While I'm sure many of us are beyond excited to sink our teeth into this year's season of the hit ITV programme, a few will be looking back at some of the most iconic moments the show has provided us throughout the years.

One of which includes Davina McCall recalling the absolutely 'brutal' moment she took her clothes off for a Big Brother interview. Have a look:

Now, Davina was part of the series from the get-go and was loved by viewers all over for her presenting capabilities.

However, she really took things to the next level during the sixth season of the former Channel 4 show during Sam Heuston’s exit interview.

In case you need your memory jogging, Sam become quite well-known for walking about the BB house with a bikini on.

So, it seemed only fitting that Davina would pay homage to Sam's get-up during the interview - a plan that went on to be one of the most iconic and memorable moments from the entire season.

Davina McCall opened up about the iconic bikini stunt during a Big Brother exit interview.

She later opened up about the hilarious stunt to BuzzFeed, sharing her biggest regret during the episode.

"So, Sam who I was interviewing has spent her whole time in the Big Brother house in a bikini and we thought 'what can we do that would be quite funny?'" she explained.

"Then me and the producer — on our own — said 'let’s not tell anyone'."

The pair decided to keep the prank hidden from the rest of production until the big reveal itself.

Davina recalled: "Let’s not tell the floor manager, let’s not tell the camera man, let’s not tell the director. No one.

"Let’s go and put a bikini on and then a coat and then, in the ad break, change into the coat and then come back out and go get her from the house."

During the interview itself, Davina told the contestant: "Sam, I’m a bit hot actually," before taking off the coat.

The iconic moment went down in Big Brother history.

"I stood up and took off my coat and the cameraman who was filming me went like that [looking out at her] from behind his camera in case something was wrong with his camera," she continued.

However, it seems Davina didn't think the plan through all the way, joking: "I felt quite confident and I had forgotten that I had to stand up at the end of the interview and everyone was in the circle around me underneath, staring up my arse and at my vagina from the front.

"It was vagina level and I had my cards here over my vajayjay thinking, 'oh this is quite, like brutal' — just trying to do the end piece to the cameras as quickly as possible."

Iconic.

Celebrity Big Brother will be premiering on ITV1 and ITVX tonight at 9.00pm (4 March).
