Britney Spears is said to be ‘disappointed’ after Jamie Lynn quit I’m a Celebrity this week, with claims the star ‘never intended’ to make it to the end.
Jamie Lynn’s exit didn’t come as too much of a surprise to some viewers, who had watched her grow increasingly tearful during her time in camp.
The star previously admitted to having a 'tough' time on the show, not least because she was desperately missing her kids, Maddie, 15, and five-year-old Ivey.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the show confirmed Jamie Lynn had to leave the show for medical reasons.

"Jamie Lynn Spears has left I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! on medical grounds," the statement said.
"She's been a fantastic campmate who has triumphed at trials and bonded well with her fellow celebrities."
Earlier today, Jamie took to Instagram to share with her followers: "I can’t wait to share with y’all everything about this once in a lifetime experience.
"But I don’t even know where to start when trying to describe what an incredibly special time and place I had with some of the absolute best humans I have ever met and consider family now.
"THANK YALL for welcoming me into your living rooms night after night, and for supporting me through all the highs and lows. I’m am so grateful for this show, and all of the wonderful people apart of it!
"I will be taking some time to recovery and spend time with my family, but looking forward to sharing all about my journey on @imacelebrity with everyone! LOVE YALLLL".
Jamie's sister Britney is said to apparently be ‘disappointed’ by her early departure.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, a celeb source claimed Jamie Lynn never had any intention of staying in camp for the whole stint, arguing: “Using a medical condition surely gets her off the hook without having to explain herself.”
They continued: “Britney is disappointed, but nothing surprises her anymore when it comes to her family's unprofessional behavior.“Jamie Lynn knew damn well going into this that all she had to do was last 72 hours and she was going to get paid. So that is what she did.
“She never intended on staying any longer than this. This was just a quick paycheck for her – same as the Special Forces was.”
The source added: “Unlike her sister, Jamie Lynn does not see anything through to the end.”
