'Incredible comeback’ suggested after man asks woman wearing band t-shirt to name three songs without realising who she actually is

If you're a female that has ever dared to wear a T-shirt with a band logo on the front, you may have experienced this extremely annoying situation.

It's almost like we can't enjoy things without justification?!

But one man came unstuck when he didn't realise just exactly who he was questioning.

A woman, wearing her own band's merch, posted a video to TikTok after a stranger asked her to name three songs from the band, Bad Habits.

She looked puzzled, as she stood there contemplating why a man had asked her to name three of her own songs.

The video has since gone viral, as it seems being asked this question is pretty relatable.

And one person suggested an 'incredible comeback' for next time she may be asked the ridiculous question.

They said: "I heard an amazing comeback for this 'name five women who feel safe around you' lol."

It would definitely leave them feeling slightly attacked...

But this wasn't the only great suggestion in the comments.

"You should have countered with 'name three people in the band' replied one viewer.

One genius suggested: "Oh please, you wouldn't recognise the band if they were sitting in front of you' followed by the most intense stare ever."

The creativity continued in the comments section, with people revelling in the ways you could take someone down for asking such a thing.

"Name three songs and name one band member?" suggested another, while someone else added: "I'd tell him to name all the band members, that usually gets them angry, especially when it clicks."

"Name the band members... you can't. Want to know how I know you can't?" was one idea.

"Should've named three unreleased tracks" said one fan, in the ultimate power move.

The woman, called Jo, captioned the video: "I don't know how I should feel about this..."

Nevertheless, it seems as though the video was a great piece of accidental marketing, as plenty of people are now saying they are checking the band out.

"Never heard of your band but I'm gonna look you up!" wrote one new fan.

Another said: "I was unfamiliar but went down a rabbit hole and your band rocks! Definitely adding to my playlist."
