The long-awaited Super Bowl is finally just around the corner being this Sunday (11 February), and I'm sure many of us are beyond stoked to tune in to the iconic half-time show performance.

Now, we already know that the 'Burn' chart-topper, Usher, will be taking centre stage but he's been keeping the juicier deets about his upcoming performance tightly under wraps.

However, the 45-year-old singer did previously reveal audiences can look forward to some roller skating, jaw-dropping choreography, major costume changes and special guests.

Since then, fans reckoned they've worked out who Usher will bring out as the Super Bowl special guest and they've rushed to social media to share their speculation.

The 'DJ Got Us Fallin’ in Love' star's highly-anticipated performance comes over a decade, 13 years exactly, after he first graced the stage as a special guest during the Black Eyed Peas' 2011 halftime show.

But now, the R&B icon will have the stage all to himself and will have the honour of bringing his own special guest up to perform alongside him, and fans are gunning for none other than Justin Bieber to be that person.

One X, formerly Twitter, user penned: "I just have a weird feeling JB might perform at the Super Bowl as a guest act with Usher. Won’t that be fire?"

A second echoed: "JB as surprise performance will surely light up the whole crowd!"

"I need that so much, I really miss him," admitted a third, while a fourth chimed in: "I really need Usher to bring Justin Bieber out at the super bowl."

"The idea of Justin Bieber joining Usher for this year's Super Bowl halftime show to perform 'Somebody To Love' is very divine. It must happen!" gushed a fifth.

A sixth quipped: "Just remembered an Usher x Justin Bieber Super Bowl is a possibility!"

"Usher prolly bringing Justin Bieber out," claimed a seventh while another echoed: "If Usher brings out Justin Bieber then what? What am I supposed to do? Because breathing won’t be happening!"

A final Twitter user added: "We all are manifesting it!"

Well, I guess we'll have to just wait and see.

But - where does this speculation come from exactly?

Well, the Biebs made an exciting return to the stage at an intimate concert in Toronto last week, which marked his first live set in over a year after stepping back from performing in 2022 due to health concerns.

The 29-year-old treated adoring fans to all the major old bangers including 'Baby' and 'Eenie Meenie'.

That paired with eagle-eyed fans clocking the Canadian singer sitting in what appears to be a makeshift studio setup in a recent Instagram photo dump had led many to believe JB is about to make a major musical comeback.

And, what better place to do that than the prestigious Super Bowl?
