Harry Styles faces backlash over controversial tour ticket donation

The Together, Together tour is set to hit London's Wembley Stadium in June this year

Harry Styles fans have been sent into a right frenzy this week after he announced his eagerly-anticipated Together, Together tour last week.

The upcoming tour, which is set to take place following the release of his fourth studio album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally later this year (6 March), features a record-breaking 12 nights at London's Wembley Stadium, with each presale opportunity selling out at record speeds with the general sale tomorrow (30 January) set to be no different.

Now, there has already been a bunch of backlash from fans over the cost of the tickets to see the 31-year-old 'Watermelon Sugar' star in the flesh.

For those not in the know, in the UK, prices range between £44.10 to £466.24 for seated tickets at Wembley and standing prices between £144.65 to £279.45 with VIP packages ranging from £468.85 to £725.45.

In New York, the most expensive VIP package is currently priced at $1,667 (£1,208).

But fresh outrage has been sparked after fans found out Harry would be donating just £1 from every ticket sold to LIVE Trust, the organisation striving to protect grassroots music venues in the UK.

LIVE Trust took to Instagram to share the news, writing: "Harry Styles kicks off 2026 with a bang - and with a boost to grassroots.

"He’s the first artist this year to announce a major UK stadium tour with £1 from every ticket going to the LIVE Trust, directly supporting the UK’s grassroots venues.

"That £1 might feel small. But when artists at the top level step up, it unlocks serious, long-term support for the base that holds the whole live music ecosystem together. This model works. And it’s growing."

It didn't take long for fans to rush to social media to share their thoughts after catching light of the announcement with one X user fuming: "Making his fans pay $1,199 for a ticket and then $1 to charity when he could just lower the cost of tickets and donate the money himself."

"£1 from a £1000 ticket? I would be embarrassed even to have that headline," snapped a second as a third chimed in: "Is this their idea of damage control? If so, £1 is not cutting it!"

A fourth seethed: "So 1$ from 1000$ worth ticket? Thanks babe but I will donate it myself."

"Think he can afford to donate more than that with these prices," commented a fifth as a sixth echoed: "I think he needs to donate a bit more than that given his ticket prices are double theirs."

Another jabbed: "Funny how a small band is able to do the same without making fans pay hundreds for a ticket."

And a final X user slammed: "'When artists step up' sorry who's buying the tickets again? Oh wait, the fans. Where's the money coming from again? Oh yeah. Ticket sales. So who's really donating the money? Gosh would you look at that."
