Social media star Zuza has tragically died aged just 14, with her family issuing a heartbreaking statement on the monumental loss.
Zuza Beine was a popular Instagram and TikTok content creator known for documenting her journey with cancer, boasting 4.4 million followers in total across both platforms.
She regularly shared videos from her home and the hospital, including 'day in my life', 'get ready with me' and vlog videos with a dedicated fan base who loved tuning in to all her latest updates.
Zuza also used her platform to spread awareness of the realities of what it was like living with childhood cancer.

However, after over a decade living with acute myeloid leukaemia, a cancer of the white blood cells, her family announced her passing yesterday.

The heartbreaking statement, which was posted to social media on Tuesday (23 September), reads: "It is with broken hearts that we share that Zuza died yesterday morning.
"She lived 11 of her 14 years with a relentless cancer, yet lived more fully and gratefully than most. Her being changed us forever, and her dying will too."

The message went on: "It is no coincidence to us that the last video she made captures what she was grateful for—a testament to a life filled with both beauty and suffering.
"More than anything, she wanted to be a normal, healthy kid. But what made her life so beautiful was how she learned to face the hardest circumstances, like her disease, and still live fully."
In lieu of flowers, the family concluded the statement saying that Zuza would want any donations to go toward her 'recently deceased uncle's wife and children'.

The statement was accompanied by a photo of Zuza happily smiling in front of a beautiful sunset by the ocean.

Tributes have since flooded in for Zuza, with one Instagram user writing: "You were such a light to so many. Love you forever."
A second penned: "I genuinely looked forward to each and every one of her videos. I am beyond sorry for your loss. Rest in peace, gorgeous girl. Your light will always shine through."

"Fly high Zuza, you were always such a beautiful and kind presence. You will be dearly missed," commented another.
And a final fan echoed: "My heart is shattered for someone I never even met. Zuza, you are a one-of-a-kind angel. I will never stop thinking about you and the joy you spread in your short life. Rest easy angel."
