YouTube star Annabelle Ham has died following an 'epileptic event'.

She was just 22 years old.

On Saturday (July 15), Ham was attending a bachelorette party in Fairhope, Alabama, when she was reported missing.

However, her family has since revealed what happened to the young content creator.

"We’re writing this with heavy, heavy hearts. Annabelle experienced an epileptic event and has gone on to the gates of heaven," they announced on her Instagram page..

"She struggled with this for a long time and wanted to raise awareness for it, which we will do in honour of her.

"Annabelle was beautiful and inspiring and lived life to the fullest. Everyone she met was inspired by her energy and the light inside her soul that shined so bright. She was, and will forever be, so so loved."

Ham's older sister Alexandria had told fans that the YouTuber was missing and was last seen walking along a pier.

"My sister is missing. We have her phone. She might have fallen off pier," she wrote on Facebook on Saturday.

Fairhope Police later issued a statement saying they responded to a missing person call at 3:32pm.

The person was later found deceased and they ruled out foul play.

A cause of death has not been released and Ham's family has asked people not to speculate.

"Please don’t post or spread speculation or details that are unfounded. There will be a time to share more details and to go deeper into her life," the family wrote in their statement.

"Unnecessary comments only serve to hurt us all, this is a time for remembrance and mourning. Thank you."

"Alpha Omicron Pi is mourning the loss of Annabelle Ham, Beta Zeta," they wrote.

"Annabelle lived a vibrant life, brought smiles into every situation, and was cherished by all who knew her.

"Our sisterhood is completely heartbroken for the Ham family and for a beautiful life tragically cut short."

"Rest in peace to the most caring beautiful soul, you’re in a better place," added another.

Annabelle's other sister Amelia paid tribute her on social media on Monday.

“Sometimes I don’t understand why god does things but, I can’t even put into words how hard this is,” she wrote.

“You would never think something like this would or could happen to you until it does.”

“She was so sweet, so pretty with the most bluest eyes ever, she was always happy and lighted up every room. But god was ready for her,” she continued.
