People from around the world have come together to help after a worrying video of a Nickelodeon child star went viral.

Tylor Chase has been in the headlines this week after a social media video showed him seemingly living on the streets of Riverside, California.

For those unfamiliar, the 36-year-old actor is best known for his role as Martin Qwerly in the Nickelodeon 2000s TV series Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide.

After taking on a few more acting roles throughout his younger years, such as an appearance on Everybody Hates Chris and a role in the 2007 film Good Time Max, starring James Franco, he's since largely remained out of the spotlight until these videos began to circulate.

One clip shows Chase confirming that he was the kid in Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, and since then, others have claimed to spot him in the same area.

The heartbreaking videos have prompted a widespread array of help, including from Jacob Harris, an influencer and owner of Shipwreck Barbershops in California, as well as The Mighty Ducks star Shaun Weiss.

Weiss said in a video shared to Instagram: "I have received many messages about [Tylor Chase]. I reached out to some friends of mine, and we have a bed for him at a detox, and we have a place for him to go and get long-term treatment."

He added: "All we need to do now is find him. I’m not in Los Angeles, or I would go look for him myself."

The American actor and comedian added that if anyone can 'get a face-to-face' with Chase, 'please DM me so we can get him some help in time for the holidays'.

That's when Harris stepped in and commented on the video, vowing to find Chase and get him some help.

He told his own followers in a video: "I'm on the phone with the rehab centre that Shaun Weiss from The Mighty Ducks had posted saying that they have a bad and a rehab centre ready for Tylor Chase tonight if he is coherent and ready to get help.

"So right now I'm on my way to find Tylor at the same spot that I just saw him at."

Harris added: "Hopefully if he's ready and able to, I'll get him into my car and take him to a rehab centre tonight so he can get help. All based off the video that was posted earlier."

He then later posted a further update on Instagram, where he confirmed he allegedly found Tylor and said he 'sat with him for an hour while his father and multiple co-stars called him' on Harris' phone.

He penned: "They explained their love for him and how much they want/need him to agree to getting help. He's now in contact with all the right people to get the help he needs. He has a hotel room tonight to help him make the decision on his own."

Fans have been following along the journey and eagerly waiting for updates on the child star.

Tyla has contacted a rep for Tylor Chase and Nickelodeon for comment.
