Travis Kelce might have bent his own major rule before the Super Bowl on Sunday.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end faced off against the Philadelphia Eagles at Super Bowl LIX. The Chiefs were hoping to secure their third consecutive championship win on Sunday, but they sadly lost to the Philadelphia Eagles 40-22.
Lots of celebrities attended the game at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, including Jay-Z, Ice Spice, President Donald Trump, Lady Gaga and Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift.

The ‘Blank Space’ singer was spotted in town on Friday (7 February) where she enjoyed a date night with Kelce just two days before the game.
As one of the world’s most high profile couples right now, they were spotted in fan videos holding hands as they left the French bistro Lilette where they dined in a private room. A crowd ‘of a few dozen people’ had gathered outside and were cheering as the couple left at around 10.00pm, Nola News reports.
It’s unclear where the couple headed after leaving the restaurant but the Chiefs stayed at the Marriott hotel near the French Quarter which is said to be approximately 20 minutes from the restaurant.
The couple’s date night came as a surprise to some because it happened just 48 hours before game day. Although there is no indication that Kelce did anything wrong.
The NFL says: "Coaches and players spend the two weeks before the Super Bowl poring over their opponent's game film and shoring up any areas of concern. Teams keep the same Wednesday through Friday practice schedule to maintain regular-season habits".
As a result of the Super Bowl causing 'more distractions' than regular games in the football season, 'coaches put a strong emphasis on practices the week before'.
But before Super Bowl Sunday last year in Las Vegas, Kelce said he planned to lay low in his hotel room before the big game.
"We've got one week, we do what we need to do then we can party in Vegas for the rest of our lives," Kelce told his brother and former Eagles center, Jason Kelce, on their New Heights podcast.
"Everybody is pretty motivated and locked in at the task at hand," he added.
Kelce specifically said he would avoid any distractions. "You definitely can't gamble. You might be able to walk in one [a casino] like if a restaurant is in one. I'm not going down the strip anytime until the game."
The NFL reportedly forbids players from spending the night with their partners before Super Bowl Sunday. If their significant other is staying at the same hotel, they must book a separate room.
Players must also follow strict curfews the night before each game. The curfew varies, but is usually around 10-11 pm. This may be why Kelce and Swift chose to hit the town on Friday night.
