Ruth Langsford has spoken out after a fan questioned why she was still sporting her wedding ring despite splitting from her husband Eamonn Holmes four months ago.
The nation was taken aback when the adored TV couple announced that they planned to get a divorce.
We woke up to Ruth and Eamonn presenting This Morning every Friday from 2006 until 2021, so when the married pair announced their split jaws were quite literally on the floor.
They tied the knot in 2010 and spent 14 years of married life together before announcing in May this year that they were going their separate ways.

They confirmed their split through a spokesperson, who said: "Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing."
The pair have not disclosed the reasons behind the divorce, despite fans hoping Ruth would give her side of the story upon her return to Loose Women.
After taking two months off presenting, it was reported by the Daily Mail that she was planning to 'break her silence' on the show.
Although Ruth didn't address the split directly, upon her return to the Loose Women panel, she told viewers: "It's very nice to be back with you."
But four months on from the bombshell statement, eagle-eyed fans have noticed Ruth is still wearing her wedding ring.
She wears the ring during appearances on the popular chat show, and in Instagram videos that she posts to her over one million followers.
She posted a video to the social media platform last weekend, showing her fans how she makes a green juice.
One fan asked in the comments section: "Why has she still got her wedding ring on?"
Replying, the 64-year-old said: "Because I’m still married."
Eamonn decided not to take a break from broadcasting following their announcement, and thanked fans on GB News for their support.
The day after the statement was put out, he said: "I would like to thank you for your support for Ruth and I over the last few days as to the news of our separation.
“Your support for both of us is very much appreciated.”
Despite this, he talked to The Mirror about how much upset it had caused.
"I'm not okay. This is not a good time at all," he said.
"It's too early to say, but I hope we can still be friends."
The former couple have one son together, 22-year-old Jack, who was born in 2002.
