Robert Pattinson once made grim admission about his personal hygiene after Twilight co-stars were left 'gagging'
Robert Pattinson apparently smells like crayons if you ask the internet
While it’s not uncommon for some people to slightly smell, the way that Twilight actor Robert Pattinson has been described as reeking is shocking.
Even though he’s been hailed as one of the sexiest men alive, according to reports from people who knew him on set for his vampire films, his stench was a little too much.
Even worse, it apparently left his co-stars ‘gagging’.

A crew member who once worked with Pattinson for Twilight’s second instalment, New Moon, told E! News that the actor smells horrid.
The person wanted to be anonymous when they revealed that: “He stinks. I mean, it’s awful. He never showers, and it drives people on the set crazy.”
They added: “He completely reeks.”
Wow.
To be honest, if you type in ‘Robert Pattinson smells’… the top result shows you: ‘Like crayons’.
Now, that’s not such a bad smell, but it’s not what you want to be known for.
Unless you’re the actor, who even came out to speak about his lack of hygiene during an interview.
As it turns out, he doesn’t really care about grooming himself and prefers to be unkempt.
When he appeared on Jay Leno’s show, the 22-year-old at the time said that he rarely washes his hair.
He shared: “I don’t have much of a sense of personal hygiene or styling or anything.”
In an interview in 2012 with Extra, Pattinson doubled down on his hair, staying: “Probably. I don’t know. I don’t really see the point in washing your hair. If you don’t care if your hair’s clean or not, then why would you wash it?
“It’s like, I don’t clean my apartment ’cause I don’t care. I have my apartment for sleeping in and I have my hair for just, you know, hanging out on my head. I don’t care if it’s clean or not.”
To make it worse, a GQ story once described him as wearing clothes that ‘smell like he has recently purchased them off the back of someone less fortunate than he.’
Those confessions are usually kept for the confessional…
But not everyone hates his scent.
Former girlfriend and co-star in the vampire flick, Kristen Stewart said in 2008: “He smells great.
“It’s kind of an animalistic thing that goes on. It went along with the movie, so it was perfect.”
However, it’s not like his non-washing method is uncommon.
Some men who have been noted as being the sexiest men ever have been known to absolutely pong on purpose.
People’s former Sexiest Man Alive, Matthew McConaughey who refuses to wear anything that masks his smell.
He told the publication in 2005: “A man should smell like a man. I haven’t worn deodorant in 20 years.”
Viggo Mortensen, another sexy man was reported to smell badly while filming the Lord of the Rings film, after going method with his Aragorn character and slept in the woods.
This co-star, Sean Bean told Toronto Star: “Bear in mind, he was very smelly.”
But that doesn’t stop them from being beautiful, or talented.
However, a stick of deodorant wouldn’t go amiss.
