Rebel Wilson announces wife Ramona is pregnant with second child

Rebel Wilson has announced that she and her wife, Ramona Agruma, are expecting baby number two together.

The 45-year-old Pitch Perfect star shared an adorable video montage to her Instagram Stories set to the backing track of British pop singer Olivia Dean's 'Easy (To Fall In Love)' earlier today (8 December), confirming the exciting news.

She captioned the short clip, which was reposted from 41-year-old Ramona's TikTok account, 'Big Wilson family news'.

The montage included several sweet photos and videos of Rebel, Ramona and their first daughter, Royce Lillian, before cutting to a photo of a pregnancy test which read '2-3 [weeks]'.

After catching light of the news, fans rushed to social media to share their elation with one TikTok user writing: "Congratulations!!! You are beautiful!!! Be happy with this good news and love each other so much!!!"

"WHAT!!!!!???!!? Wow!!! So happy for you and your gorgeous wife. Congratulations!!!!" gushed a second.

A third chimed in: "Omg guys! Congratulations, this is amazing!!!!! so so so happy for you. LOVE YOU BOTH!"

"Oh my God, congratulations!" beamed another.

And a final TikTok user echoed: "Congrats and all the very best ladies!"

Rebel and Ramona met back in late 2021 after being set up by a mutual friend, actor Hugh Sheridan, and talked on the phone for weeks before meeting in person, with their first date at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in early 2022.

The pair eventually went public with their relationship in June 2022 and went on to tie the knot in September 2024.

Rebel and Ramona's first daughter, Royce Lillian, was born via surrogate in 2022, with Wilson announcing her arrival on 7 November, calling her a beautiful miracle, born after years of fertility challenges.

"Beyond proud to announce the birth of my first child, Royce Lillian, born this past week via surrogate," she wrote at the time in a sweet Instagram post. "I can’t even describe the love I have for her, she’s a beautiful miracle! I am forever grateful to everyone who has been involved, (you know who you are), this has been years in the making…but particularly wanted to thank my gorgeous surrogate who carried her and birthed her with such grace and care.

"Thank you for helping me start my own family, it’s an amazing gift. The BEST gift!! I am ready to give little Roycie all the love imaginable. I am learning quickly…much respect to all the Mums out there! Proud to be in your club."

Speaking on a recent episode of Let's Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, the Aussie actress told the host she had been preparing for motherhood long before she met her now-wife Ramona.

Rebel said she had to be upfront with Ramona early on that her surrogate was already expecting.

"I'd already been planning to have a baby, and I'd had an embryo and was already planning to have a baby by a surrogate. So very, very, very early in dating, like three months into dating Ramona, I had to tell her, so I have a surrogate, and it turns out the surrogate's pregnant," she recalled.

She added that it was a 'huge thing' to lay out at that point in a relationship.

"Ramona just turned to me, was sitting at my kitchen table and she said, 'I love you and I'm gonna love your child just as much,'" she said. "I was so shocked. It's like she didn't even think about it. She just went, 'Oh, that's amazing news.'"
