Nicola Peltz baffles fans with 'raunchy' post dedicated to father-in-law David Beckham

Many felt the photos were a 'weird choice' to 'congratulate your father-in-law'

Nicole Peltz has left fans baffled after a ‘raunchy’ post dedicated to father-in-law David Beckham raised eyebrows.

The Beckham family have been in headlines recently after the release of a new Netflix documentary, which delves into the ups and downs of dad David’s professional and personal life.

A synopsis for the series, which premiered on the streamer on 4 October, says: "Beckham, a four-part documentary series, tells the inside story of a global football star and cultural icon.

"David Beckham is one of the most known names on the planet, yet few people know who he really is. From his humble working-class beginnings in east London, his drive and determination to win, and the battle to find balance between ambition, love and family, David’s story is one of immense ups and downs.

"The series takes you on that rollercoaster and builds a surprising, personal and definitive story of one of the most recognisable and scrutinised athletes of all time.

"In Beckham, Academy Award-winner Fisher Stevens (Palmer, And We Go Green, The Cove) along with Academy Award and Emmy Award-winning producer John Battsek (One Day in September, Searching for Sugar Man, Winter on Fire) are granted unprecedented access to David, his wife Victoria, his family, his friends and his team-mates.

"The result is an intimate portrait of a man as well as a chronicle of late-modern sports and celebrity culture."

His family all came along to the docu-series' premiere in London last week to help celebrate its launch – with many members of his brood also taking to social media to express how ‘proud’ they felt of the Beckham empire’s patriarch.

Posting a snap of his family on the red carpet, son Brooklyn wrote: “I am so proud of you dad @davidbeckham. Congratulations. What a beautiful night. Love you so much.”

And little brother Cruz also said: “What can I say other than how proud I am of you @davidbeckham, such an amazing premiere. Love my family so much.”

Brooklyn’s wife Nicola, meanwhile, may have gone for a similar message, but the pictures she used to illustrate her feelings left some people feeling somewhat confused.

She posted a carousel of snaps from the night on Instagram.

“Last night was incredible congratulations @davidbeckham,” she said in the caption, which accompanied a carousel of photos – including two in her hotel bedroom with Brooklyn, who was holding her bum as her left leg straddled him.

In another shot, she pouted at the camera as she held her bum, while one picture also showed her posing in the bathroom with her leg up.

It wasn’t until the fifth snap of the carousel that Nicola shared a family photo featuring David and co.

Nicola didn't share the family photo above until later in the carousel.

One person commented: “Odd pictures when it was for her father in laws premiere.”

Someone else said: “Weird choice and/or order of pictures to congratulate your father-in-law, one might say.”

A third wrote: “Those pics are just weird for your father in law.”

A fourth added: “You set up a camera to take raunchy pics with your husband to congratulate his dad.”
