Molly-Mae has shared her response to critics who have 'concerns' over her relationship with Tommy Fury.

Now, as fans of the former Love Island stars will know, Molly-Mae and Tommy have been going through it as of recent following the media storm that ensued after they announced their break-up.

The pair had been together for five years, with Tommy having proposed and the two sharing a child together.

It wasn’t long before rumours began to circulate that cheating had played a part in the split, although these were repeatedly refuted by Tommy, who has previously slammed any reports of infidelity as 'complete and utter b*****ks', instead telling Men's Health that he and Molly-Mae actually broke up because of his negative relationship with alcohol.

Fuel was only added to the fire when she announced her Amazon Prime doc, titled Molly-Mae: Behind It All, where she opened up about a number of topics including her relationship breakdown with her ex-fiancé.

In the documentary, which came out last month (17 January), Molly-Mae admitted she hasn’t been totally 'honest' about the split - though arguably it’s for a very relatable reason.

"I think, really, I probably haven’t been honest with anyone in this situation," she explained.

"Because actually I’ve just been holding onto the hope and the idea that, as soulmates, we will always come back together.

"Because even though I’ve been saying to everyone around me that, 'Yeah, we’re done, we’re done', I made the choice to end our relationship but I didn’t want this to happen. I don’t want to not be together.

"And I know we can’t be right now, because he has to work on himself, but I don’t know, I just... it’s so hard because all I want is to be with him."

And now, the latest update in the saga sees the mum-of-one and Maebe founder hit back at those critical of her relationship with the professional boxer, reportedly telling MailOnline: "What others think about my relationship is not my concern."

Following certain claims about her family's reaction to an alleged reunion with Tommy, a representative for Molly-Mae told MailOnline: "At this current time Molly is focusing on what's best for herself and her daughter whilst co-parenting."

The rep added: "Others' opinion on her relationship is not her focus or her concern. Only she knows how she feels."

In the doc, the reality TV star also revealed co-parenting Bambi was 'going quite well', saying she and Tommy were 'communicating about Bambi'.

"It’s not like you’ve really lost that person, they’re still kind of there," Molly-Mae added.

"Tommy and I are always going to have that common ground in Bambi, and we’re always going to have that special connection. Tommy’s a lovely person, like, he is. He’s a really good guy.

"Right now at this moment, I don’t know what the future holds for Tommy and I, I really don’t. But I’d be lying if I said my love just disappeared overnight."
