Matthew Perry shared a 'devastating' final post on Instagram less than a week before his tragic death aged 54.

The star - who was best known for playing the beloved Chandler Bing in the hit sitcom Friends - passed away yesterday (October 28) after the fire department responded to a 'water rescue'.

The actor was reportedly found in a hot tub at his Los Angeles residence after an apparent drowning, with no foul play suspected.

The Los Angeles Police Department said it 'responded to the 1800 block of Blue Sail Rd for a death investigation on a male 4.10pm this afternoon'.
