Luke Wilson has entered a new chapter of fatherhood with his girlfriend, Kendall Yates, who recently gave birth to their first child together.
The 54-year-old Legally Blonde actor welcomed a baby daughter with Yates, 24, with the couple announcing the news in a pretty unexpected way.
According to PEOPLE, the pair brought their newborn along to a press reception for Wilson's upcoming Netflix comedy series The Hawk at The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, California, earlier this week on Tuesday (7 July).
Yates was seen carrying the newborn in a baby carrier as they arrived together shortly after 5 pm before heading home ahead of the event wrapping up around 7 pm local time.
During the reception, the new parents reportedly introduced their little girl to guests, including Wilson's co-star Jimmy Tatro.

The couple, who share a 30-year age gap, were last photographed together back in April while out on a walk in Los Angeles.
Becoming a dad has clearly been a long-held ambition for the Anchorman star.
Speaking to PEOPLE back in 2007, Wilson revealed he hoped to have children one day, and, years later, in 2021, admitted that turning 50 had made him reflect on life a little differently.
The couple share a 30-year age gap (Eric Charbonneau/Getty Images for Warner Bros.) "30 didn't matter to me. 40 didn't matter to me," he told PEOPLE at the time. "I just steamrolled right through it, but 50. I don't know if it's getting to me because I am sore when I wake up in the middle of the night, and I am forgetting the names of people I know."
"So I don't know. It's definitely one of those things that has had me thinking, 'Oh, okay. So this is where the phrase midlife crisis comes from,' " he continued. "I'm definitely starting to feel panicky about some stuff."
Wilson is the last of the famous Wilson brothers to become a parent.
His older brother Owen Wilson has three children.
The Night at the Museum actor welcomed son Robert Ford in 2011 with former girlfriend Jade Duell, followed by son Finn in 2014 with Caroline Lindqvist. He also shares daughter Lyla, who was born in 2018, with Varunie Vongsvirates, per PEOPLE.
Meanwhile, eldest brother director Andrew Wilson is also a dad and is known to have a son named Joey, although he has largely kept his family life private.
