Now that we're in the final month of the year, it's only a matter of time until we see celebrities flood our timelines with their weird and wonderful Christmas decorations as we count down the days until the 25th.
It's largely accepted that the start of December is an appropriate time to start Christmas-ifying your home, with Kim Kardashian wasting no time at all to put up her tree - or trees, if you will.
We'd expect nothing less from the reality TV star, given her track record of opulent holiday decorating. But it's clear that not everyone thinks her interior design choices hit the mark, with many rushing to social media to call out the 'tacky' and 'boring' set-up.
Now, the decor discourse kicked off after the 45-year-old took to Instagram on Tuesday (2 December) to give fans a tour of her home and the countless Christmas trees she'd erected in her living space.

"Okay, we just finished decorating for the holidays," she said, as she filmed the trees in her hallway. "I can’t even begin to explain to you what this smells like and feels like."
"It’s pretty insane. Look at the hallway," Kim continued as she panned to more trees that had been covered with fake snow and fairy lights.
Walking through the home, Kim spotted an Elf on the Shelf elf perched on one of the trees and told the camera: "Oh I see a little elf hiding in the tree."

She then spotted another elf, before moving on to film the decorations in her living area and kitchen, including a festive model house on the countertop.
The mum-of-four went on to tell fans 'there's more' as she turned the camera to show more trees, which were all surrounded by fake snow at the base, in the kitchen.
After catching light of Kim's Christmas decor, one Instagram user hit out: "Looks empty to me."

"It looks scary. Like in a horror film," slammed a second, while a third chimed in: "FULL OF CHRISTMAS TREES... EMPTY OF LOVE."
Someone else agreed: "Like girl, one tree maybe 2 is enough."
"So much going on it’s tacky," said another, while a final user jabbed: "It’s boring sis."

However, others were quick to come to the Skims founder's defence, with one X user writing: "She goes all out and I love to see it."
Another added: "That’s so cute, I’m so happy for her. I love it."
