A tribute that Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt shared to her husband has triggered a fiery online debate, after she admitted to 'needing' him.
The best-selling author has been married to Chris Pratt since 2019, and shares three children, Lyla, five, Eloise, three, and Ford, 16-months, with the Guardians of the Galaxy actor. She is also the step-mother to Jack, the 13-year-old son that Chris shares with ex-wife and fellow film star, Anna Faris.
Taking to Instagram last week, Katherine, 36, shared a video of Chris sanding down the outer surfaces of a wooden doll house, using Olivia Dean's hit anthem 'Man I Need' in the background.
"I'll never understand when women say ‘I don't need my husband’ when I very much in fact do need my husband because who else would build our daughters a doll house?" she'd written over the clip.

Unfortunately for Katherine, her heartfelt statement hasn't gone down too well with a number of her followers, some of whom interpreted the message as her implying that women have lesser capabilities than men.
"You. You could do it," one user wrote, responding to her question. "How nice that he did but it’s either tone deaf or passive aggressive to say you’ll 'never understand.'"
Another added: "Women can do that. We can buy our own homes and vote, too!"
A third agreed: "You would build it. You're not helpless and neither are your daughters."
The couple share three children (Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic) Despite the backlash, a number of fans were quick to defend the couple.
"Yes!! I definitely need my husband, and he needs me too! Marriage is a partnership," one wrote.
Another continued: "Focus on your family and not what people say. Love you guys."
"The fact that you have a partner that does the things you don't want to do and you do the things that he doesn't want to do. you guys are lucky!" a third went on to urge. "Don't let anybody tell you anything different.
"This has nothing to do with feminism this has to do with lonely people whining because they don't have what you have!"
