Justin Bieber has shared a video of himself smoking, just days after denying that he’s using drugs.

The 30-year-old pop singer sparked concern online earlier this month, as fans said he appeared to be 'frail and unrecognisable' following the release of several new paparazzi snaps.

Such comments on social media led to a rep for the father-of-one to deny the 'exhausting and pitiful' allegations that the singer had been using drugs.

The rep told Rolling Stone in a story published on 23 February, that both Bieber and his wife Hailey Bieber, with whom he shares his son Jack, said the public’s obsession over his mental and physical health is 'exhausting and pitiful and shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive'.

The rep added that the last year was 'very transformative for him as he ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him'.

The statement in question, which was first reported by TMZ, concluded by claiming that the singer 'hadn't slept because he had been recording all night which is why he looked a bit worse for wear when he stepped out to get some fresh air'.

"He'd also spent part of the evening caring for his son who was having trouble falling asleep as well," TMZ added.

Amid the speculation, Bieber shared a video on Instagram of himself seemingly freestyling lyrics over a beat in which he could be heard rapping: "I fly high like a high guy / I fly high like a magpie / I go high like I'm that guy."

The clip sparked further concern amongst fans.

And now, Bieber used Instagram Stories on Thursday (28 February) to share a video of himself listening to music while smoking. He doesn’t say anything during the clip but smiles directly into the camera as he smokes.

Tyla has contacted Bieber’s representative for comment.

Bieber has previously opened up about his health after receiving an avalanche of cruel messages from trolls online who suggested he looked like he was 'on meth'.

Justin announced that he had actually been given a Lyme disease diagnosis back in 2020.

According to the NHS, Lyme disease is a 'bacterial infection that can be spread to humans by infected ticks'. The disease refers to the symptoms and health problems that develop as a result of the infection.

Assuring fans he was getting 'the right treatment' to help address the disease, Justin added that he had not only being 'battling' with the condition but had also been working towards 'overcoming' it.

"It's been a rough couple years but getting the right treatment that will help treat this so far incurable disease and I will be back and better than ever," he said.
