Jessica Simpson has said she'll 'never forget' Ashton Kutcher's reaction to finding out she was a virgin at 22.
The American singer and actress, 45, appeared on season five of That '70s Show, where she played the role of Annette Berkhardt, a love interest of Kutcher's character Michael Kelso.
In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, the fashion designer watched back a clip of their two characters from the show, where Annette tells Michael she is a virgin.
This prompted Simpson to reveal the time she told Kutcher off-screen that she was also still a virgin in real life, as well as his one-word response.

Around the same time the TV show scene was filmed back in 2002, Simpson had publicly declared that she was a virgin and was waiting until she was married to have sex.

The actress watched back the behind the scenes clip, where speaking her characters, she said: "I was just shooting a scene with Ashton - Michael, and I was telling him that we couldn't do it because I was a virgin."
Then, present-day Simpson laughed: "Oh, I'll never forget telling Ashton I was a virgin. He was like 'Why?'

"I was like 'because I haven't met my husband yet!'"
She continued: "At this age, I'm very innocent, I'm not thinking about other people and their sex lives at all. I've always been open."
The actress joked: "Legs crossed, but open. Legs crossbow."

And she did stick to her word, as the singer waited until she tied the knot with American actor and singer-songwriter Nick Lachey in 2002, and according to an interview with Blender magazine in 2003, she said it was the 'most amazing moment' of her life.
Simpson said at the time: "I'm so lucky I didn’t lose my virginity in the back of a Jeep or something. Instead, I had this amazing, elaborate wedding and I topped it off with that."
However, the two did unfortunately part ways not long after this and their divorce was finalised in 2006.
She went on to marry former American football player Eric Johnson in 2016, but the celebrity pair announced their breakup earlier this year after 10 years of marriage.

The pair share three children together - Maxwell, 13, Ace, 12, and Birdie, six.
In a statement to PEOPLE at the time, she said: "Eric and I have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage. Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them."
The statement continued: "We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family."

Simpson is now 'having fun' enjoying the dating scene, and told Extra in October that she's 'into younger men' right now.
The actress said: "I think I'm into younger men at the moment. When you're newly separated... I feel like younger guys kinda like the confidence of an older women, I'm discovering. I am having fun!"
