Former Playboy model Holly Madison has spoken about a common misconception regarding her sex life with Hugh Hefner.
Madison dated Hefner between the years of 2001 and 2008, and has recently opened up about what it was really like inside the Playboy mansion.
Hefner - who passed away in 2017 - was the editor-in-chief of Playboy mag and went on to expand the franchise into a multi-million dollar industry.

However, since his death, a number of women have opened up about some of the details surrounding the mansion, the sex parties and the 'strict' rules they had to abide by, including no red lipstick and 'one-way monogamy'.
Speaking on Owen Thiele’s In Your Dreams podcast on Friday (2 May), Madison opened up about her thoughts on group activities in the house, during her years spent as one of Hefner's girlfriends.
"Well, it’s a very different story between when we were just by ourselves than with everybody else in the room," she explained, adding: "Everybody else in the room, no. That was disgusting. I hated it.

"I made it very known I hated it."
Madison also spoke about a common misconception regarding her alone time with Hefner, adding that she didn't mind too much about the 53-year age gap.
"If it was just me and him, it was a lot more normal than you would think," she said.
“I feel like there was a time when I couldn’t post anything without some dumbass in the comments like, ‘Oh, old balls,’ or something like that.

“Maybe some people’s balls do get old and nasty, but I’ve never seen such a thing.”

In 2022 on her Girl Next Level podcast, Madison discussed her sex life with Hefner further, elaborating: "He wouldn’t move. He would be like a bump on the log in the middle of the bed.
"I can’t explain to you guys how embarrassing that whole routine was. Especially as we got later down the road when there would be, like, a lot of conflict with the other girls.

"You’re literally sitting there naked having sex in front of a group of people who hate you and talk s**t about you while you’re having sex, and you can hear it. It was just, like, hell.”
She added: “We thought of it as a chore that we had to do or else we’ll get kicked out of the house. Everybody just wanted to make it go by as quickly as possible."

Speaking to BuzzFeed News a decade back in 2015, Madison shared that the prolific sex parties always took place on the same two days of the week.

"It was always Wednesdays and Fridays after the club. It was always exactly the same because that's just how he likes to live his life," she said.
According to Madison, all of Hugh's girlfriends were required to take part as she explained: "They knew it was kind of a quote-unquote requirement for living there, and expected.
"And it had kind of a chore vibe, I felt."
