Although you may not recognise her in this childhood photo, this little girl grew up to be one of the biggest stars in the world.

In fact, in 2020, the star became the first artist since 1981 to do a full sweep at the Grammys, impressively winning all four major awards.
She isn’t afraid to push boundaries and is known for her quirky androgynous style and many different hair colours.

Fans of the music sensation will also know she works very closely with her brother, who has served as a co-writer and producer on many of her acclaimed projects.

The little girl in the photo now has three albums to her name and is currently on a huge world tour, which will be hitting the UK next month and includes a showstopping six-night run at London’s O2 Arena.
She began her career with the risky move of uploading her first song to Soundcloud all by herself at age fourteen.
Now an international hit, that song is called 'Ocean Eyes' - sound familiar yet?
Then, in 2017 at just 16 years old, she went on to release her first full EP 'Don’t Smile At Me', which received critical acclaim.

Billie herself has shared these adorable childhood photos to Instagram to celebrate her birthdays over the years.
The popstar is now 23 years old and has achieved more than most could dream of by such a young age.
The singer has a sensational nine Grammy wins under her belt, as well as four BRIT Awards and two Oscars, all earned after less than a decade in the industry.
A critic wrote for NME that her newest album Hit Me Hard and Soft 'remains distinctly unique, a portrait of a singular talent entering young adulthood, exploring her queerness and experiencing the emotional thrill and (sometimes) catastrophe of chasing passion or falling in love'.

The aforementioned queerness is explored on her track 'Lunch'.
Billie came out in her Variety cover story in November 2023.
She told the outlet: "I love [women] so much. I love them as people. I’m attracted to them as people. I’m attracted to them for real.”
She then continued: "I’m physically attracted to them. But I’m also so intimidated by them and their beauty and their presence.”
