Sister Wives star Christine Brown has today paid a heartbreaking tribute to her beloved stepson Garrison, who tragically died this week, aged just 25.

The young reality TV favourite's sad passing was announced by his family in a heartbreaking statement posted to his mum Janelle's Instagram account on Tuesday 5 March.

"Kody [Garrison's father] and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown," the statement read.

"He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away."

It went on: "We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honouring his memory."

The same tribute was also posted to dad Kody's account.

The Brown family have appeared on the US reality series since back in 2010, when Garrison - who recently enlisted in the Nevada Army National Guard - was just 12 years old.

The show followed his father Kody's polyamorous relationship with wife Janelle - Garrison and Gabriel's mother - as well as his various other partners.

TLC has also released a tribute in Garrison's honour, telling press they're 'devastated to hear of the tragic loss'.

The Sister Wives broadcaster continued: "We extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the Brown family at this difficult time."

And this morning, on-screen favourite Christine has broken her silence on her stepson's passing, honouring his life with a sweet tribute posted online.

Taking to Instagram, the 51-year-old - who is mum to Aspyn, Mykelti, Paedon, Gwendlyn, Ysabel and Truely - shared a clip of Garrison alongside her and her ex-husband Kody’s youngest daughter, 13-year-old Truely.

"Garrison was a wonderful, caring brother who understood Truely’s need for a hobby and built her a flowerbed," she penned in the caption.

"We’ll miss him forever."

According to People Magazine, investigating police officers revealed that Garrison's younger brother Gabriel, 22, discovered his body inside their family's home earlier this week.

Authorities have since declared that it doesn't appear that the youngster died in suspicious circumstances.

They said in a statement to the publication: "On 03/05/2024 Flagstaff Police officers responded to a report of a death inside a home.

"At this time there is not any indication of foul play, and detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division are investigating."
