David Beckham’s son Cruz has reportedly lost his driving license just two years after passing his test in September 2023.

Cruz, 20, is the third of David and his wife Victoria's four children. They also share eldest Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 23, and their only daughter, 14-year-old Harper.

The youngster has now been banned from driving after clocking up six penalty points for speeding. One incident occurred on 2 September, when he posted on Instagram that he’d been 'just got done for doing 24 in a 20'.

Under DVLA rules, new drivers face an automatic licence revocation if they hit six points within two years of passing.

He’s said to be 'gutted' to lose his licence so soon after getting it, and now needs to apply for a provisional licence again and retake both tests before he’s allowed back on the road.

A source told the Mail: "Cruz is gutted about it. It was a couple of speeding tickets, which are so easy to come by these days with 20mph zones. It’s infuriating, but he seems to have accepted it and taken it on the chin."

Cruz's father, David, has also faced speeding trouble in the past.

Back in 2018, he was accused of driving 59mph in a 40mph zone. His lawyer, Nick Freeman, known as Mr Loophole, got the case thrown out by proving the notice arrived a day late.

Freeman also helped him escape an eight-month ban in 1999.

The footballing icon had been caught at 76mph in a 50 zone, but the defence claimed he was trying to get away from paparazzi. The argument worked, and the ban was subsequently overturned, per the Mirror.

The news comes less than two weeks after the Beckham family got together for a special celebration as King Charles III knighted the former England captain at Windsor Castle earlier this month (4 November).

Along with Victoria, Romeo and Harper, Cruz joined his father at the castle on the special day and featured in a photo shared by one of his siblings afterwards.

"No one deserves this more than you, love you so much xxx. Congrats, Sir Dad," Romeo joked on Instagram.

"To my beautiful children, who I am so proud of, and I know this is a proud and inspiring day for them as well, they are our greatest joy in life and my inspiration every single day. I love you all so much," David wrote in his social media tribute to his family for the occasion.
