Justin Bieber defended as Charlie Kirk fans call him out over social media post

The singer shared a snap of the rules he has for his family

Fans have rushed to Justin Bieber's defence this week following backlash over Charlie Kirk's assassination.

Taking to Instagram last night (14 September), the Canadian singer shared an image of a photo frame, taken from the home he shares with Rhode beauty boss wife, Hailey, and their son, Jack Blues.

The frame contained a list of 10 'values' that the family seemingly attempt to follow, which included the likes of 'We value Rest as Worship', 'We value HEALTH and physical wellness as an act of stewardship' and 'We value HUMAN beings and believe in their dignity and eternal worth'.

While some praised the 'Baby' musician for his Christian values, others took to the comments of Bieber's latest post to criticise him for failing to mention Charlie Kirk.

Kirk, 31, was assassinated by a gunman last week while debating students at Utah Valley University, with his death being confirmed by political ally Donald Trump.

The suspect has since been named as 22-year-old Tyler Robinson.

Critiquing Bieber, one fan of the right-wing activist hit out: "Mention the assassination of Charlie Kirk who left behind a beautiful wife Erika a a daughter who is 3 and a son who is 1 who will now grow up without there dad.

"When his daughter asked her mother where daddy is Erika said he's working with God. How do you explain that lose to a 3 year old. I suggest you take a look at Erika Kirks message regarding Charlie."

Another slammed the star, adding: "SAY HIS BEAUTIFUL NAME!!!!!! CHARLIE KIRK!!!!!!!!!! OUR BROTHER IN CHRIST!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Sad that you’ve not mentioned the juice lost of a fellow brother in Christ-Charlie Kirk," a third went on.

"A brother who only wanted to spread truth and try to work out the differences between the right and the left sides. God bless the memory of Charlie Kirk!"

Another wrote: "Justin, I respect you sharing your family values, but I’m surprised and disappointed that you haven’t said a word about Charlie Kirk’s death. You and Charlie shared the same faith, and he leaves behind a wife and two little kids.

"You spoke loudly for George Floyd and BLM — why not speak out now? Consistency matters."

However, a number of 'Beliebers' have since jumped to the father-of-one's defence, wondering why someone in the entertainment industry should feel forced to speak out on all political matters.

"Why are there people on instagram going through psychosis begging justin bieber to talk about charlie kirk," one asked in the comments.

Another admitted: "I’m confused why people think Justin has a responsibility to mention it. Maybe he has prayed to God for Kirk’s family, maybe he hasn’t, the point is that you do not have to right to judge."

"Why does everyone think a celebrity has to speak about charlie kirk like he wa a the president or smth lmao," a third questioned.

A fourth pointed out: "People asking Justin to talk about Charlie Kirk. Justin Bieber is Canadian why does he have to speak on an American social media influencer lol. Y'all are nuts."
