Bobby Brazier, the son of the late reality TV star Jade Goody, once spoke candidly about his feelings towards her.

As we all know, Jade rose to fame after appearing on Big Brother in 2002.

When appearing on India's version of Big Brother in 2008, Bigg Boss, it was revealed to Jade that she had cancer - in scenes that were televised.

Just a year later in 2009, Jade passed away at the age of 27, leaving behind her two sons who she shared with her then-boyfriend Jeff Brazier; Bobby, now 21, and Freddie, now 19.

And last year, Bobby opened up in an interview with The Times about how he feels about his late mum.

When pressed on what Bobby remembers about his mum, he told the outlet: "Not a whole lot. Maybe memories of memories. I’m always being told about her and what she meant to people. I guess I know my mum through other people’s memories of my mum.”

He said she had an 'excellent personality', adding: “Thanks, Mum, for giving me your amazing personality and your beautiful face.”

Bobby also opened up about his mum's time in the spotlight, and how it makes him feel.

He said: "I've never really thought about her experience of fame. I think to assume that anybody's experience of fame is glamorous, or that it will make you whole or happy, is silly.

"It might make some things better, but because of that it'll make other things worse.”

In a separate interview with The Face, Bobby opened up about the fact he 'doesn't miss' his mum.

He was asked if he misses Jade, and Bobby admitted to The Face: "I don’t."

He added: "I don’t feel like I was with her long enough to miss her. I feel like it’s unfair. I miss what could’ve been. I hear all the time she was such a presence, that she was one of a kind. What hurts most is that it wasn’t just losing anyone, it was losing Jade.”

Bobby added that he would have just ‘loved to have seen what other people had seen."

He concluded: “I’m always being told that she’s a hero and that she was funny and that people see me in her on a daily basis, which is nice.

“I’m lucky that [Jade's life was] kind of public, because it means that I can watch videos when I’m feeling strong enough to watch videos.

"But sometimes I can’t. I will cry if I do.”
